As a cobbler and entrepreneur, this shoe design course has truly opened new doors for me, including exciting collaborations with other brands. It has been a valuable experience in helping me refine and elevate my skills within the footwear industry.
I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone looking to redefine and expand their expertise in shoe design. Beatrice has been an outstanding instructor—highly precise, supportive, and excellent at guiding students step by step through the entire process. Her teaching made complex concepts easy to understand and apply in practice.
My very next step will be enrolling in the pattern making course, and I’m genuinely looking forward to continuing this journey.

Best 4 months of my life

I took the one year bag course and I find every step of the course really really interesting and also had the great experience learning with the teachers.

In March 2024, I took the online Bag Pattern Making Master Class, and honestly, it came at such an important moment for me. I had just finished chemo and radiation, and I was still getting back into my rhythm. The instructors were incredible—so patient with my timing, my pauses, my “brain fog” moments… everything. I never once felt rushed or out of place.

But let me talk about the information, because WOW!!! I thought I knew my way around bag-making, but this class opened my eyes in the best way. I learned so much—techniques, insights, little tricks, things I didn’t even know I didn’t know. It completely changed how I approach pattern and bag making. It seriously leveled up my handcraft. I catch myself using what I learned every single day now.

If you’re thinking about taking it, I can’t recommend it enough. It gave me skills, confidence, and a really positive experience right when I needed it.

I attended Arsutoria's Online Program in May 2024 to September 2024. I took their Shoe Design Path Online which included Hand & Digital Sketching and Collection Development Courses as well as their 3D Shoe Design Courses for a total of 15 weeks. IT WAS GREAT! The courses were incredibly well put together and I learned so much from the professionals that gave the courses. The classes are pre-recorded and super easy to understand and learn from. There is consistent reviews with the professionals at Arsutoria which provides an excellent moment to receive feedback and really improve on the skill sets being taught as well as gather alot of information from the wonderful professionals that are giving the courses. I was able to utilize the knowledge and skills I learnt from Arsutoria Online Programs to attain my first goal in my career as a Shoe Designer which was to find a job within the industry, I am now a Junior Footwear and Handbag Designer for Ted Baker. I would not have been able to achieve this goal without having learnt what I did from Arsutoria! I live in Montreal, Canada and I can confidently say that I learnt so much from Arsutoria an Italy based school from the comfort of my own home! Would definitely recommend to anyone anywhere in the world who wants to really begin their career in footwear and handbags or even refine their skills for the industry.

Coming to Arsutoria was a wonderful experience and I learned in-depth about the Bags and leather-goods industry. The teachers are amazing and experienced and I've grown so much since the first day to now working as a designer in the industry.

Choosing to attend the footwear patternmaking and the footwear design courses at Arsutoria school has been one of the best choices of my life.
It gave me the opportunity to learn from the best teachers and opened wide the doors to my career in footwear.
If I went back I would choose it a thousand more times and I recommend it to everyone.

Arsutoria is an excellent school for a person with or without any experience in the footwear industry and who wants to learn more about both the technological and product design aspects of footwear.

Arsutoria has helped me immensely to advance in my career. There I acquired solid technical knowledge about footwear construction, from concept to production. I was able to understand thoroughly the components of a shoe and how they interact with each other and the importance of the material used. Making quality shoes can be a complex process, I’ve used the knowledge acquired in Arsutoria in all my jobs. It has helped me to design quality shoes at the appropriate price. Most recently I took the 3D Design course and it was extremely useful. This changed completely my design process. I feel now that I am more in charge and that the shoes look the way I want to. Not to mention the big help for factories to understand my designs. The future of footwear design is 3D. I used every day my 3D learnings and I am so thankful to the school for helping me in every step of my career.
