Pleasantly surprised!

I was a bit worried seeing the 3 star overall reviews, but had heard consistently good feedback about the scents, so with my fingers crossed ordered a Reed diffuser (after the rain). It arrived very quickly, very well packaged and the fragrance is lovely. It definitely is strong enough without being overpowering and guests yesterday asked me what “that amazing smell is?”.
I’ve been on the hunt for a diffuser that actually works and is a pleasant, long lasting smell for ages, and am so pleased. I’ve now ordered the other 3 fragrances to see what they are like.

Terrible customer service

Brilliant products but awful customer service which is a shame . Seems like I’m not the only one that thinks so . I had my first ever shampoo delivery and the top had no cellophane on it and the flip lid was open and leaked all over the box . 4 weeks later I’m still waiting for them to reply to my e mail

A hideous, rude, obnoxious company.

As other reviews have highlighted the customer service here is shocking. Item never received and Evri, according to them - left in a flower pot I never had.

They refused to refund me and set me a bodged made up disclaimer that they had clearly knocked up threatening legal action and thus signing my right under remote selling regulations.

I refused, threatened them with a chargeback and hey presto refund for goods not arrived.

Don't bother with this 'we think we are better than you' joke of a company.

Won't be buying from Arran Aromatics…

Won't be buying from Arran Aromatics again. Just found out today that they recently merged with another company and as such I have now lost all of my loyalty points. There was never any communication about this happening so only found out on trying to buy something in the shop. Refunded the item and will not be back, that is not how to treat people who have been buying from you for years.

Fabulous Scottish Business

Good range of high quality products including soap bars, perfumes, hair and body care, household fragrance such as candles and reed diffusers and gifts for men and women. Prices are quite steep, but you are paying for unique, small batch production on the Island of Arran. The scents and packaging are evocative of Scotland and the products look good, as well as making you feel good. I like to support Scottish businesses and will continue to buy from this excellent company, both direct and with suppliers. No problem with delivery or service so far.

I am so terribly disappointed I have…

I am so terribly disappointed I have been a loyal customer of purchasing your reed diffuser for years now. Guest used to always asks what is that beautiful smell in your room. The quality is terrible now you can not smell anything! I would just have been aswell flushing my money down the toilet as they are not cheap. My bathroom is tiny and you can't smell a thing. Used to scent out my full licing room, I moved from there to the bathroom and still can't smell and was brand new. Don't waste your money on these reed diffusers.

Ordered a few items for Christmas…

Ordered a few items for Christmas presents and a gift to myself 😊 such lovely products and the smell stays for ages (in a good way 😂). Also received a free shower gel gift which was so appreciated.

Avoid

I ordered goods from this company, which were not delivered. I contacted the courier (Evri) who were unhelpful. I then contacted Arran Aromatics for help, however they refused to contact the courier on my behalf and told me to do things that I had already explained that I’d done on the email. I asked to cancel the order as the goods hadn’t been received and was told that this couldn’t be done unless the goods were returned to their warehouse (if the courier has lost the parcel, how can this happen/be guaranteed?)
Honestly the least helpful company I’ve come across.

Seems like this could be a scam company. Lesson learned. I’d avoid.

Terrible service and just uncaring and rude!

I have been using this company for several years, but will no longer be buying anything from them. Apart from them great reduction of their scent content of their products over the years, this recent experience means I will never use them again. I have sent several emails, with no response and it took two weeks for them to get back to me to say "the warehouse has sent your order out again" It was never sent in the first place and DPD who they use as a carrier confirms this!! Absolutely useless "cusomer service" @Tracyanne, who definitely needs some basic training in manners, how to respond to emails, and how to be an effective customer service rep. Terrible service and don't lie to customers!!!

Next day delivery - did not arrive

I paid £8.95 for next day delivery, but order did not arrive, as it wasn’t processed until the next day. Customer services not helpful, refunding only a proportion of the postage. I won’t order online again.

Beautiful products and fast delivery

Just placed my second order and more than happy with the exceptional service received. The quality and fragrances are first class.
Last year, I bought my daughter an ‘After the Rain’ hand gift set and my son-in-law a Lochranza wash bag with lots of products inside. They are both hooked on Arran products now and buy them for themselves, plus they are on their Christmas lists this year!

This review is not about the product but the lack of Customer Service

This review is not about the product but about their online sales and customer service (or lack of customer service)
My wife ordered gifts ready for Christmas and the order was promptly delivered and that's where it starts going wrong, on opening the parcel it was discovered that the contents were damaged specifically a candle in a tin which was completely bashed, the box was far too big for the goods inside and there was insufficient packing to protect the goods resulting in the damage.

My wife phoned Arran Sense of Scotland on the day of delivery but no-one answered the call, we put this down to it being a Saturday 14th October and promptly sent an email instead to the address on the confirmation email, not expecting an answer until the beginning of the week.
We still had heard nothing by Wednesday the 18th October so my wife phoned again this time someone picked up but they were rude and insisted that we must have sent our email to the wrong email address and she gave us the correct address, I then checked the original email with the one she gave us and it was the same, never the less I forwarded on our original email to the address given.
Apart from receiving the numerous marketing emails we have heard nothing from the Arran Sense of Scotland.

So we suggest that you do not use their online ordering system and get any of their products from one of their agents, if you do use their online system then good luck as seems to be a gamble to whether it arrives intact and if you have any issues don't bother calling them as they will more likely be rude if they reply at all.
