We are a Family owned business. Our Dad Austin O’Hare along with his two brothers started a wholesale travel & leather goods business from a warehouse in Halston St, Dublin in 1952. The business supplied travel and school cases to Department Stores and Independent Retailers along with supplying leather and grindery to the shoe repair trade. The main brands our company supplied were Crown Luggage from the UK & attaché cases from Travel Goods of Portarlington, Co Laois. In the early 60’s the company had outgrown the Halston St premises and moved to a bigger warehouse and offices on James St only a stone’s throw from the Guinness brewery, it was at this time that we started to manufacture the first hard-shell suitcases in Ireland under the Navigator brand. In 1979 Austin decided to go solo and A R O’Hare & Co Ltd was formed, it was shortly after in 1980 that David joined the company followed some 10 years later by his brother Keith. Staying true to our heritage A R O’Hare & Co Ltd is now Ireland’s oldest and largest distributor of Luggage, Travel & Fashion Accessories. We pride ourselves by offering exceptional customer service throughout the Republic & Northern Ireland. We currently supply leading Department Stores, Supermarket Chains, Travel Retail in All Irish Airports, Independent Retailers, DIY Groups & Promotional Companies. Today our office & warehouse is based in Baldoyle, Dublin 13. We currently distribute or act as sole Agent in Ireland for a portfolio of internationally recognised brands which are listed below. Go Travel – Jump – Victorinox –Kipling – Cabin Zero – Esprit – Senz

Top service from A R o'Hare
Following a holiday last year we discovered damage to the wheels on our Victoria knox suitcase. Airline was no help, so research led us to A R O'Hare & Co, where David was top notch, replacing the damaged wheels with professional and courteous service. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.
