AC customer service is a disgrace

AC customer service is a disgrace, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They cancelled my order and over a month later they never refunded me, I emailed them several times with no reply. Also they never answer the phone so its impossible to contact them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Very bad customer service.

Very bad customer service.
We ordered 10 Promat Supalux Fire Rated Board 2440x1220mm and had to pay all the amount (including extra charges for next day delivery) on Proforma but when the goods were delivered it was only 5 items from the order.
We had to then get in touch with them (which was not very easy as no one picks up the call in one go) and they didn't even knew how many of them were delivered until we contacted them. and all this happened on a Friday evening when we had our engineers on the jobsite at 8 am on a Monday.
We then had to go ourselves to get the plasterboards from their supplier for which we asked Armstrong refund for and there has been no response from them since two months.
Hence, very bad customer service and not keeping up to their word.

No way to contact them

My order is delayed causing issues to our project. Unable to understand why and when it will be delivered as there is no way to contact them. Tried contacting via web chat, no response. Tried calling many times, no answer. Poor

Do not order from this company online

We ordered from their website and awaited a fortnight for the delivery, the delivery period came and went with no communication from AC. We have spent two days trying to get someone to speak to, this seems to be impossible with the company hiding behind their answering system and chatbot. We would like our money returned so we can use a supplier who can deliver on time and communicate with its customers. Wish I’d read more online reviews before engaging this company.

Nightmare customer service

I have an order for cut timber - delivery within 5 days specified when ordering. It has now been 9 weeks and I still don't have a delivery date.
Offered a refund 5 weeks ago, requested it 3 weeks ago but nothing has materialized. Extremely hard to contact and get any meaningful reply - I got a message on Friday saying a saw was broken that has affected the order - no mention of the refund. So I'm stuck in limbo with a project that has overrun by 2 months.
I would have assumed this company is a scam however I have had a small order delivered by them previously and seemingly reviews on here have had their orders fulfilled. The many 1 star reviews since January suggest something has happened at the company. I encourage you to look at the latest reviews not the overall score. I am going to have to just reorder the timber elsewhere and try to recoup the money via small claims if not resolved this week.

Poor initial communications, effectively resolved by live chat

Initially I was repeatedly unable to make contact by telephone to check the status of a delivery, and received a response to an email incorrectly advising that the product had been delivered.

This was all resolved when I used live chat, and I was given a date for delivery, which was honoured. The delivery driver was first class, making telephone contact in advance. I found that one item had been missed from the delivery, and called the driver, who in turn contacted HQ, and then called me back to confirm it would be delivered the next day, and again this was honoured. Overall, after some frustration initially, the service was very good.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!! No one answer the phone you get no updates on your order until you threaten to complain and then its ok we'll refund you. This company shouldn't be online, don't think "oh well hopefully they will be different for me!, trust me they won't" But if you like having your time wasted, go ahead

I’ve been trying to contact you for…

I’ve been trying to contact you for days now regarding my order by email and phone not sure why u even have a phone no one has ever answered or emailed back poor service for the amount of money people are spending this review will also be going on trust pilot honestly mite as well be a scam website what a waste of time and money I was only able to cancel this order by contacting my bank honest review very disappointed with this service

Would not order again

Had to chase the order a number of times and only got a resolution when I raised a complaint with PayPal. When I received the timber order they had sent the wrong lengths so I now have to cut them all myself. Timber itself was partly via a 3rd party. Only saving grace really was how friendly the customer service team was when I finally got a response

Another company under delivering

Ordered an item online on the 18th January 25, ordered accepted and email confirmation said normally 4-5 working day delivery time. Heard nothing thereafter, so I emailed on the 23rd January 25 for an update. Response was, do I want an alternative item, if I wished to wait for the specific item I originally ordered, it would be approx another 14 days. Look, be honest, if you dont have the item in stock when someone orders it, either don't let them order it, or contact them immediately explaining the situation, dont let them sit there, thinking the order is on its way and there's no issues. If there is an issue, let the customer know, God knows when, or if someone was going to let me know there's an issue, probably never.
