Amazing quality

I ordered two pairs of jeans and have to say the quality is fantastic - finally women's jeans that are not flimsy thin material. The fit was also accurate, as someone who always tends to buy larger jeans sizes because sizing is so varied / small fit, these were perfect in my normal size. Previously have also bought jumpers and tops and was equally happy. Highly recommended as even if prices initially seem high, the clothes last a long time and definitely worth it.

Friendly people who are quick to…

Friendly people who are quick to response and help you via customer support (both in German & English! Thank you Rey!) and amazing beautiful clothes. Only thing I find a bit frustrating sometimes is that the sizing chart is not always that correct (or maybe I am just really bad at measuring myself ...) But refunds are also quick and correct!

Pullovers tend to pill (a lot)

I love the philosophy behind ArmedAngels. I've bought 3 pullovers from them, in a wool/organic cotton blend. They are warm and the colours are beautiful. BUT they all tend to pill a lot. My latest purchase, MEYLAA LANDSCAPE, has a block pattern, where the darker colours pill on the lighter ones, and vice versa. :-( I don't mind paying a higher price for sustainable and fair quality, but I'm not sure these pullovers will last very long. Pretty high maintenance.
Edit2: also, could you make your pullovers a bit longer? They are very short. Maybe that's the fashion, but I don't find it very comfortable or flattering.

Edit: I had to verify so the brand would know I was a bonafide customer. Too bad they didn't make the effort to reply to my review. -> 2 stars

Absolutely awesome customer service

Absolutely awesome customer service. I got a super quick reply regarding a return and they honored the free shipping and special discount from my original order. Plus, their products are amazing!

Beautiful clothes

Beautiful clothes. Very impressed by the hand feeling of the garment. super soft! I bought alpaca knit and a few sweats. I am wearing them all day long at home now. Shipping and return service are also very fast!

Fantastic customer service!

I recently placed an order with Armedangels but made a mistake when entering the address. This led to my package being stuck in Dorsten. I contacted Armedangels on two occasions - once for asking whether the delivery service could be contacted to be made aware of the fault and once to ask them for a refund as the package had still not returned to the sender and seemed to have got lost. On both occasions, staff members from the customer service team were super friendly and helpful and immediately reacted.

I have ordered new items via their page in the meantime and am also very happy with the quality of the products. I had to send one back because the colour did not suit me as well as expected - the retour and refund was also dealt with very quickly. I can therefore only recommend Armedangels. :-)

Beautiful clothes

My experience with Customer Service was very good. Theuy responded quickly (within one day) and adequately to my questions. The pullover took one week to be delivered, which is reasonable this time of year and taken into account that the Netherlands are in lockdown. The pullover looks beautiful and is very comfortable.

BEWARE: VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I too have received very poor customer service. I originally placed an order, and got a "your cart is empty" reply after I went through PayPal. I figured I had waited too long to process my order, and the items had been removed from my cart. So, I placed a second order, also using PayPal. I got a message that my order had been received and was being processed. Shortly thereafter, I was notified by my credit card company that two orders had been placed. I tried to contact the company to let them know before the order shipped. I got no response.
I then went through PayPal to remediate the situation, and I got an email from "Daniel" at Armedangel informing me that they couldn't cancel the order because it had processed, and I would just have to refuse one of them when it arrived. However, when I log onto my account, my order says it's still processing and has not shipped. I placed the orders and made the initial contact with the company on November 14th. It is now December 1st. When I wrote to ask about shipping, I got no answers, and they don't accept phone calls now. In the mean time, to make sure my Husband gets a Christmas gift, I ordered from Octobre, a company in France, and got my order in 5 days!!!
I do not advise you place an order with this company. There is no telling when it will ship, if it will ship, whether it will arrive in time for the Holidays, and there is no way to contact anyone to get answers.

Improved customer service

Below, you can find an original review. Shortly after posting it, Armedangels contacted me and showed full initiative to solve the problem without any complications. Looks like we really caught them in bad timing, when they were experiencing some technical organizational issues.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

We ordered more than 500$ of different product from their site. After the first washing, (as instructed at 30° for sensitive fabric) 3 of my 4 T-shirts have shrunk and were not useful anymore.
We also wanted to return some of the other products because the size didn't fit us.

We initiated the return/complaint of these products. When writing to their customer support the feedback was very slow or non-existent.

After we provided all the proof for them they stopped replying and we are still waiting for their instructions on how to proceed.

While most of the products are very good, their customer service is one of the worst I have ever come across.

We are very sorry that it took us so long to response. Unfortunately there have been technical problems within the shop system, and we have received 3x more customer inquiries. Even though we have increased our capacities in short time while fixing the technical issues, it still takes longer to process the inquiries at the moment to due the high volume.

We know even though it may not seem to be so during this really challenging situation, but we really care for our customers and take feedback very seriously. Not being able to get back to customers on time is really an exception for us.

But we know this is not the ultimate reasoning for slow response and we definitely take full responsibility for the current situation and would like to apologize to you in all form. We can promise you that we are doing everything we can to find a solution/to response for all our customers including you, and that we will be able to reach back to our customers sooner in near future.

For your specific case, we have passed along your feedback on the quality of the T-shirt to our product and quality teams. We will use your feedback to constantly improve our products.

Be careful this company is a scam

Be careful this company is a scam, they overcharged me 4 times and is been two weeks since and no one replys to the emails and no refund until now.

I am very sorry that there was problem with your payment. Due to the technical problem we received double orders and double payments. Although we fixed the issue and completed the refunds automatically at the 18th of November, we still had to manually correct refunds and payments. My colleagues and I did our best to process and correct all cases as quickly as possible. Unfortunately this took a lot of time due to the high volume of cases.

I am very happy that we were able to clarify everything via e-mail. Thank you again for providing all the information so that we were able to find a good solution at the end.

As already described in the other comments, we are doing everything we can to reduce our response time again and to prevent such errors from occurring again.

Unstable website payment and double order placement

I was using the website in November 2020. The website kept on lagging during the loading of the payment and order confirmation and the account kept showing that no order was placed.
Finally, after the last attempt, it has sent me a double confirmation with 2 separate order numbers. No replies to the immediate attempts to contact them via email or website contact form.
Eventually, it was possible to refuse to receive the second order and it was returned to the sender. I would however prefer if it was possible to avoid unnecessary shipment in the first place.
It would be helpful if the company could check that their website store functions properly and provides options to correct any occurring malfunctions.

Double charge

Double charge, no product, no communication. i have attempted to contact these fraudsters via email and social media. not a word in response to my pleadings for a refund on the second charge illegally applied to my account or in relation to the issuance of the product i did actually order. i am raising disputes with my bank. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

I bought a blue Katinkaa skirts from…

I bought a blue Katinkaa skirts from armedangels. For that price I was very dissapointed with the quality. After wearing it once I tried to remove a stain with a napikin and water (!) which removed the color from that spot and destroyed the fabric at that spot. I complained several times at costumer support, however, within 5 months they have not come back to me about it. Taken together I was not able to wear this piece, which in my opinion is not very sustainable, as for me clothing has to last!

One of the best sustainable clothing shops! The Sizes are very accurate, the quality is amazing and the shipping is super fast. I don't know about the returns since I have had to return anything. I already shopped 6 times!

Awful customer service and product quality

Received a faulty product which leaked colour on several items of clothing in the wash and ruined them. Was promised a refund for the one item I bought from ArmedAngels (not the other ruined clothes) but it never came, despite me emailing several times to chase. Easily the worst ethical clothing company I have bought from.

Good quality and fiting pants & love their new live chat func!

I recently bought a pair of shorts for my friend as gift. He always has trouble finding the right size as he is very lean. Sometimes the smallest size in pants is too big. However Armedanegls' short fit perfectly for him. After a few times washes, he is still very satisfied with the post-wash quality. I saw most complaints here are about slow responses from customer service team that was due to the high volumes of tickets impacted by COVID. I recently tried their live chat functionality on-site for shipping policy. Their chat agent responded instantly and sounded very friendly and professionally. So my experience with their chat agent was quite positive.
