LANDLORDS BEWARE

ARK were appointed by Leaders to undertake EICR at my rental property in Southampton.
The overall report rated the installation as "unsatisfactory" with 3 items graded C2 and on FI.
I have asked a local electrical contractor who I know and trust to review the report. All items graded C2 should have been C3 at worst and the item graded FI merely required a count of sockets and lighting points at the time of inspection.
It is hard to tell whether this is ARK policy or an over-zealous operative but it looks like an attempt to generate more, and unnecessary work
