My dad needs a bed and one came the…

My dad needs a bed and one came the same day it was requested. The engineer was great and really polite. We had an issue with the pressure in the bed and from the time I called them to the engineer coming out it was less than an hour! I have to say, I'm really impressed. Thank you for making this transition as easy as possible for my dad. Your engineer Josh was superb.

Poor Service Dept at times

Our aqua aerobics club owns an Arjo Otter Pool lift. It's a super hoist. Its really a mechanically simple and reliable hoist and it gets a fair bit of use.

It has to be checked every 6 months for serviceability and to comply with the lifting regs.

Unfortunately the Service Dept based at Gloucester UK is not easy to deal with at times. Their customer care is quite bad at times. Their communication is really quite poor. They seem to go through periods when things go smoothly and according to plan but other times they are really quite dysfunctional. They keep making promises and not delivering on that promise.

Our hoist was due for a service in September but now it's November and still not been carried out despite me reminding them 5 times over the last month. The normal engineer is off sick apparently but no arrangements or communication has been forthcoming about when our hoist is going to be serviced. He was very good and conscientious and carried out the work without me having to contact him. Since he went on long term sick leave, we seemed to have been removed from their service schedule.

Very disappointed but after contacting them again this week, there has been better response and our hoist has now been serviced .
