Having spent the last week…

Having spent the last week corresponding with the customer services department regarding a broken baby monitor screen, and finally being offered a replacement, the email address on the company web page is not longer active. I’ve attempted to email them multiple times today but every message is pinged back as unable to deliver. Have they gone out of business?

If you're thinking of getting one of…

If you're thinking of getting one of these Arenti solar powered security cameras don't bother.
They only charge during the summer.
In the winter time when you don't have as much daylight and sun the camera doesn't charge.
So I've paid £110 for a solar powered camera that I can only use during the summer.
I've got to constantly manually charge it myself during the winter.
They don't tell you this though on the instructions.
So if your thinking of buying on.
Then DON'T.

Poor monitor screens! Beware

We’ve had this monitor for two years. The first monitor screen went black and wouldn’t turn on after 3 months. The company did replace free of charge. Since then the replacement monitors outer case buckled and bowed and wouldn’t work. The company said we had to replace ourselves which we did and paid for. The third monitor is now doing the same thing - no doubt it’ll stop working any day now!
Do not buy!

Rubbish

These are rubbish set up is a joke for an outdoor camera you have to scan a qr code the camera just refuses to see it .
Go with a proper brand ring or something like that ..
These are just so frustrating they will probably reply saying make sure your connected to 2.4 ghz connection yeah done that camera is a waste of time

Extremely Disappointing Product and Customer Service

We purchased the Arenti 2.5K Smart WiFi Baby Monitor just over two years ago, and unfortunately, our experience has been deeply disappointing. After the first 12 months, the monitor screen completely stopped working. To their credit, the company replaced the screen under warranty at that time. However, the exact same issue occurred again after another 12 months — clearly indicating a recurring fault in the product’s design or manufacturing quality.

When I contacted customer service, I was informed that the warranty had expired and was advised simply to purchase another monitor. I expressed my disappointment, explaining that a product at this price point should have far greater longevity and reliability. Their only response was, “We understand how you feel,” which felt dismissive and unhelpful.

We are now left with a functioning camera but a completely unusable monitor — essentially rendering the product worthless. Rather than standing behind their products, Arenti’s solution was to offer a few months of free cloud storage as “compensation,” which does little to address the core issue of poor product durability and inadequate aftercare.

It’s clear that Arenti products are not built to last, and the company provides minimal support once the warranty expires. I would strongly advise others to avoid purchasing from Arenti. They take your money and, when things inevitably go wrong, leave you without meaningful recourse or assistance. We will not be buying from them again.

Poor cameras, even worse customer service

Had a couple of their cameras including 2 PTZ ones that stopped panning after a couple of months, one was replaced after a load of hassle even though it was bought on Amazon. Second one I’ve had to give up on as they expect the customer to pay return postage and then claim it back by sending all your bank details?!
Stupid requests to use the broken camera to film your mobile phone screen trying to make the camera move, asked for the serial number several times and basically idiotic with their replies. Offered a £5 voucher to keep the broken camera!!! They even said the whole of the UK team was ‘on holiday’ which turns out to be one guy. Absolutely laughable customer service.

I bought 2 cameras from them

I bought 2 cameras from them, it did not specify that it won't work with 5g wifi. As I tried it realized they won't work. I spend almost 2 week to reach them as their phone won't work and on email was horrible. They said to send them back for my money return and on my pocket. I just spend 76 dollars to send them back. This wouldn't have happened if they specify that it won't work with my type of wifi. I lost money and time. It is not worth it!

The Perfect Gift for a Busy Mom

I received the Arenti Baby Monitor and decided to gift it to my best friend, who is a single mom and works full-time. It turned out to be the perfect gift!

She’s been absolutely thrilled with how much it has simplified her life. The video quality is excellent, providing her with a clear view of her baby, even at night. The two-way audio feature has been incredibly helpful for her to comfort her baby while multitasking.

The motion and sound detection alerts give her peace of mind while working, knowing she’ll be notified if her baby needs attention. It’s been a huge support for her as a busy, working mom, and she loves how easy it is to set up and use.

False European company, Chinese products

Happy about the products itself (a fixed and motorised indoor cameras). But the cloud storage service is extremely expensive and there is no way to use a personal cloud. The translation of the app is not very well done but the thing that bothers me most is that the company is falsely claimed to be from Netherlands while from the networking labels I can clearly see that the cameras are from China. I am not sure if the security and confidentiality of the video capture is guaranteed. I looked especially for an European company for this kind of product so finding out that is not true was not nice.

Zero service

Same as someone else - I’m trying to get an app help… And I get a voice message that says no agents are available and it just hangs up on me. Doesn’t even allow me to leave a message. The last guy that posted a similar message, they responded back with the same phone number. That’s kind of like a slap in the face. I have two cameras that help monitor my father in Florida and I was looking for a system for my house for my pets and my porches, etc. I will never consider them without the ability to reach an agent at any point in time. Horrible

OP1 is wonderful

I have the OP1 security camera and I love it, the resolution and the night vision is so clear and bright, the features on this camera are wonderful and the setup was pretty easy. I like that you do not need to pay a monthly fee unless you want to which I don;t as we can monitor the unit ourselves. The motion light on it is great as it detects any movements in the yard The app is so easy to setup and use, would highly recommend this camera, great price and amazing quality

No customer service

No customer service. Every time I call their 1-800 number, I get a message saying that "there are no customer service agents available in the cue". I then get disconnected with no option to wait.

How are you supposed to get help when there is no help available? What a crap company.

Wouldn’t recommend

No matter where we place it (even in different locations etc) the camera doesnt face down enough. We have to balance it on objects so we can clearly see our baby. Freezes quite often. I like that it gives the temperature of the room.

If you want a reliable, easy to use baby monitor, avoid this one. Setup is unreliable and when you move the camera to a different location, you have to do the whole process again.
