Worse university horrible stuffs. Not a place to study, horrible teacher very rude npalmer@ horrible attitude behaves like a an animal

This university is misleading, unethical and their communication is awful.
As an independent student who lives on their own, I applied for sfe maintenance loan, and initially upon enrolment we were informed that our sfe will get delayed by 2 weeks, and that they will confirm our enrolment on week two.
It is now been a month since I began my studies and my student finance hasn’t been confirmed. This isn’t only a financial issue in regards to maintenance but Its also impacting my mental health and my studies, as I am waiting on the sfe to purchase a new laptop for my studies.
In addition the student hub has been useless and I still am waiting yet there is no information or response. I have even tried e-mailing the university twice yet no response.

The worst experience, I don’t recommend

Jordan from student support made my experience very great because I spent so much effort on completing my assignment but as soon as I was going to submit it at 2pm, the portal had closed and Jordan had helped me on the same day to request a short term submission and submit it, the request was accepted rather quickly too.

I had an amazing ceremony , family and friends attended and we had a great professional photos taken at the Westminister Halk .

If I could give a zero star I would.
If you want to genuinely learn I would seriously avoid this hole like the plague! No one has a clue about anything! The lecturers are no help, One of them talks to you for 20ish minutes about bull not to mention the massive language barrier WOW then leaves you for hours to find something to do! You have a question or query so you call the uni, They never ever have an answer all you get it ‘i don’t know then’
I have never known of a place of education to be as uneducated as this place

It's bad , funny rules. People shud try to join government universities, arden is crap.

I lost 3 years in this disfunctional university. I have encountered lots of problems and still, after the graduation this university only proves to be very unuseful. There are so many problems within this university (especially the one in Manchester) that I would need a 10.000 word essay to describe how bad they are. I am happy that I finished this waste of money and time university and I graduated. But I would never recommend it to anyone. All of the 5star reviews are either fake or people who received incentives in order to leave a good review, such as vouchers or discounts. Avoid these scammers

Having a great student support and allocated study coach really got me over the line this year and wouldn’t have done it without them. Alex has been in regular contact and went above and beyond really taking time to understand my circumstances and was very compassionate and did everything he could to accommodate to help me pass. Knowing I now have this support, I am now able and excited to start the new year and study block. I was about to give up but so glad I didn’t. Arden have gone above and beyond to ensure I got the support I needed. The foundation year study I found to be generic yet relevant to my degree subjects but in turn it has given me the skills and foundations though the assignments that I will use next study year and beyond. I genuinely feel Arden and Alex really care about their students success and have truly supported me though out.

People, be aware! This is a bad place to enrol to study. I booked a session for Virtual Open Day on 5th of June 2024, to get informed about Arden as I was thinking to enrol to study with them. Session has been conducted with a group of people from the University and they ignored questions people are were concerned about. One potential student asked question about bad reviews and they ignored it. So I asked again twice and they just ignored it. Then they they just kicked me out of a Zoom call because they did not like what I asked and what I said. It says a lot about the University and the way they conduct their business. I would not enrol now even if it is free to study.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Sanj has helped me me tremendously today. Definitely deserves a raise!

Overall very positive experience

The quality of teaching is low. Your lecture is supposed to be 4 hours long. Unfortunately, it's usually around 2-3 hours. There's no actual learning during lectures. Lecturers are reading from slides 90% of the lecture. You get printouts of what they are expecting you to do in your assignment. And this is it. There is NO learning. It's only about submitting your assignment. All this can be done online. In 2 years I have lost any desire to attend lectures. Lecturers are from different countries and backgrounds and some of them speak with a big accent which makes it difficult to understand them.

I am so grateful and so happy with the help my coach Wendy Lo has given me! I was already panicking and with no clue how to deal with my situation and she sorted it straight away and was very supportive and helpful.

I spoke to Mandy on the phone today at student support, super helpful and such a lovely lady. I had a difficult issue and she sorted it for me straight away putting me at ease.

Incredibly helpful staff and treatment, knowledgeable and professional. Thrilled with experience!
