Waiting for a refund since February with no proper resolution
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been extremely frustrating.
I was officially informed by Arden University that I was eligible for a refund, so this is not a case of a missed deadline or an invalid request.
Since February, I have been trying to receive a refund that Arden themselves confirmed I was entitled to. Over the past months, I have sent multiple follow-up emails, visited my bank in person to check whether any payment had been received, and even provided updated bank details to help complete the transfer.
The bank confirmed that no funds were ever received.
Despite this, the issue remains unresolved, and communication has been extremely poor. Weeks and months have passed with little to no meaningful response, even after attempts to escalate the matter.
Wendy LO is my succes coach. During our sessions she kept me motivated in continuing to be focused on my goals. She is very organised and always advised me to prepaire for my future. I can recommend her as a success coach.

I have recently been going through a stressful time and had some issues regarding my online account Tina Solanki from student support is the only person who has gone above and beyond to help me and resolve my problems. Before I got passed on from person to person from different teams but Tina went out of her way to do things on my behalf and contact relevant teams to resolve my issues promptly and also update me with the progress and what I needed to do next.
I had a misunderstanding as to when I was supposed to start my level 6 study modules. Amrita went in-depth to understand my problem and solve the communication by suggesting that I unregistered the current modules and re-register around the 24th September module release window. She guided and helped concisely and thoroughly with an efficient communication and passion to solve the issue. I would be more than happy to have her as my student support contact member should any queries arise on the way. Amrtia is brilliant and amazing 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🙏
I contacted financial team to arrange a payment plan, unfortunately they ignore the emails and are not responsible at all. I contacted financial enquire,not answering as well. Only responsive team was student support what also contact financial team and get in contact with one of team department passes my enquire but, still they are not contact me to arrange a payment plan. I refer specifically to financial department

This department shows unprofessionalism, don't fallow University policy refers to communication with students and them practice affect iremediabil students by keeping them uninformed about new financial situation what can occurred over time. The staff ignorance of students when they trying getting in touch show the unrespectful behavior and the administration staff need to understand that, in relation with students they are reflecting University imaging and standards as well.

I had a very disappointing experience studying with Arden University and still chasing a refund. There was a serious lack of support, the tech often failed, and the overall organisation was poor. The student platform was difficult to navigate, and it felt like everything was rushed and thrown together without much thought.
The course content itself was vague and not particularly useful in preparing for real-world application. There was very little guidance or structure, and I often felt completely left to figure things out on my own. When I raised a formal complaint about these issues, it was never properly addressed — even six years later, it remains unresolved. I have tried to give them opportunity numerous times to resolve the matter so that I don’t have to take this online, but I don’t know what else to do as we still can’t reach a resolve.
For comparison, I went on to study the same subject with the University of London and the experience was completely different — structured, supportive, and professionally delivered.
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Arden University. I genuinely hope they improve, because every student deserves proper support, clear guidance, and a reliable learning experience. This has caused me years of stress and financial ruin.
Nabila has been absolutely amazing. She has supported me through my first steps at Arden. I had lots of issues regarding balancing work and studies along with personal life and i was also in the middle of a course transfer to a course that better suited my goals. Through all of this Nabila was only an email away with anything i needed. Frequently checking in on me, calling me to discuss options and consistently updating me through what was a very lengthy process. I am thankful to Nabila for her help.
Nina from student support was very helpful and eased my nerves within minutes. I have been struggling with my own mental health since joining Arden, studying at Masters level has been a huge shock to the system, I have never studied a degree before, so it feels overwhelming. However, I have been supported through everything, the lecturers including Owen Whitehouse and Dr Lynsey Mahmood have been truly outstanding. I rang Student support on Thursday as I needed to understand my options on deferral, I was worried that I didn’t have any choice and could possibly fail, but Nina talked me through the options and offered sound advice that I could action immediately. The uni has been going through a difficult time with system changes, and I understand at times it can be frustrating to students who need answers, but I have never got bad service and if anything the uni has always gone above and beyond, It’s sad to hear the way people are speaking to student support, they are trying their best. Because of Nina I got a deferral within 24 hours and I feel so much better and equip to move forward with some pressure taken off. Well done to the team, I think you’re doing amazing.
Mandy from student support has been helpful from the first. I was really overwhelmed with trying to figure out what to do about a challenge I was facing in my program. Her step by step, detailed feedback helped me to know exactly what actions to take, what resources I would need and where to find them. It's been great working with her and I hope this interaction will continue as.

If I could give Arden no stars I would! I am an existing student, and just tried to change my masters. The process is awful, but not only that, but Arden have given me no information or expectations of what to look for, and then suddenly slammed me with an additional payment. After back and forth and me finally accepting another liability as my problem, they can’t give me any clarity of what it is that I need to pay, leaving me without information and unable to get student loans help with the payment, forcing me to drop out from the programme. Finance department is a joke, not only appalling, but incredibly rude and unhelpful.
Student support try their best, but with so many gaps with process and general inability to help students have a smooth experience, I highly recommend going anywhere but Arden.

I was given an unconditional offer but was hesitant about enrolling due to a lot of bad reviews online which mostly consist of students reporting being ignored or treated poorly. I asked the educational consultant for advice, who was no help at all.
After that I sent not one, or even two but three requests for advice on how to proceed through their "make an enquiry" request and received zero responses over the course of an entire month...
My experience as a pre-student seems to align with the majority of negative reviews online from current students.
I would steer clear of Arden University, they don't seem to care about students needs or concerns.
