I paid for Express Post and contacted Sogol multiple times by phone and text to confirm this. Despite that, my parcel was sent via regular post instead.
The parcel arrived two weeks later, which defeated the purpose of paying for express shipping. Communication was extremely slow and frustrating throughout the process. Very disappointing experience.

It's a mixed bag good and bad for their promo price I got 65 pm with a eero7 router , 65 locked in for a year and if I leave I have to pay 100 odd for the router or return the router.
Gaming ...,days of good pings days of 35ms , for streaming 1st party apps like Netflix fantastic for streaming 3rd party apps some days good some days eh.
You have to remember what your paying for there is only $5 to $15 dollars difference between isps , it all depends how well you value your money opposed to it's cheap it's a good deal.
Arctel discounts for me end in I mths and then they are on par with leaptel super loop or Aussie broadband , me personally I'm a sim hopper , which means I buy a half price sim at coles or woolies and change companies, same with broadband I will stay till the sale or time ends. If you want quality don't save the 5 10 15 bucks go with a reputable one , if you love savings well if you can live with the odd hiccup this is your cup of tea.
Stay Away from Arctel
Very poor company to deal with- stay well clear. Overcharging, dropouts, extremely poor customer service. My advice is to pay a little extra for a professional internet provider.
DO NOT use them avoid
DO NOT use them avoid. I tried to move ISPs which I was told I had to give 30 days notice, which is fine I accepted that. Then 30 days later I get charged again. I log into my Arctel account and it's still bloody active. Apparently this is what they do.
IS THIS Australia’s worst ISP?
Been with these guys for 6 months. I’d say you get an email from them every few weeks to say there’s a planned or unplanned outtage. I have 500/50 speed and it doesn’t come even close to this. They take over a week to reply to emails. Other than that, they’re doing everything right.
Terrible Service
This company kept taking out random amounts of money from my account in times that did not reflect my billing cycle, spent over a month emailing them without any response. My service was randomly upgraded without warning or prompting. They then lied about it confirming it was on the lower service I had signed up for but when the next invoice came it was registered on the higher plan; even after confirming it wasn't. So two different occasions had they taken the wrong amount of money from my account. After a month of emailing them they response with an email saying the billing team 'might' response. They do not office billing support over the phone and the billing team don't response to email. This company sucks!
Useless customer service
Honestly some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Their communication was terrible from the start so I cancelled after signing up immediately as didn’t want to deal with ongoing issues. TBD guy on the phone was also exceptionally rude and had actually been understanding and helpful I might have stayed.
They didn’t actually cancel the account and started charging me so I called them to cancel and get a refund. Again they didn’t cancel the account and I was charged twice more.
I called again and actually spoke to someone polite and helpful but it turns out they only refunded me for one of the payments, not all of them.
So out of 4 dealings with them, they screwed up every time. A slightly cheaper fee is not worth the headache!
Beware and keep an eye on your bank…
Beware and keep an eye on your bank statements. they took over $300 from my bank for no reason and wouldn't explain why. When I tried to get a refund they kept saying they would fix it immediately but that never happened. I have since complained to the ombudsman and they are chasing it up
Arctel- bad customer support
Changed providers because arctel charges extra for a static IP which I require for my work vpn, then charged me for a full month even after me giving them a months notice, and arctel haven’t refunded me the pro-rata amount (2 weeks) where I wasn’t even connected to them- which they said they would. I don’t recommend them
I would give them -10 if I could
I would give them -10 if I could. Shocking speeds and constant dropouts. They blamed my end, switched to Leaptel 2 months ago same router and not one dropout since and getting 550mbps on 500mbps plan. And yes they charged me for a service they were not providing after I ported to Leaptel claiming 30 days notice on a no lockin contract. Have written to ACCC regarding there products and there cancellation fee. Stay AWAY!
A pleasure to deal with.

I've been with Arctel since September, and have nothing but compliments for them. There was a slight hiccup during the setup process, but I called them and was connected within a minute. Problem solved within 5.
They're competitively priced, and the speeds are pretty on par with their promises. I've recommended family and friends to these guys.
Warning: Charging for services they no longer provide.

Customer Service
If it was possible to give zero I would have. I switched NBN providers recently and Arctel is attempting to charge me for a full 30-day notice period after the service has already transferred. This means they are charging me for an active line they are no longer supplying and no longer paying NBN Co for.
To make matters worse, I gave notification weeks ago via their internal portal, which they are now ignoring to start the '30-day clock' from their own response date. This is an unethical practice and a barrier to a fair market. I have lodged a complaint with the TIO. Avoid this company if you value fair billing and customer service.
Unfair month notice
Was with them for 6 months, nbn was fine. But the 1 month cancellation notice even though we already ported out to another provider was a kicker. Very dodgy practice.
3 months and still waiting...
Signed up to Arctel on 22 Dec for a 7th Jan connection in my new house. Currently 5th March and still no connection, but have been charged each month like clockwork!
Will admit NBNCo are partially to blame, but deeply unsatisfied with Arctel's customer service and lack of responsiveness. Multiple times have been advised on the phone that they'd send an email out, only to get one a week later or not at all.
Fingers are crossed that we will have our connection next week...
Got a "good deal" but with the stuff around it has not been worth it at all
Sneaky
Sneaky! was on promo price for 6 months, have now been charged $90 instead of the promised $65 for 6 month rollover, in the interest of keeping a customer you could have offered me a better rate but just another terrible service provider with a confusing 30 day notice before cancelling and to make things worse any queries about billing or cancellations have to be done by email? seriously in 2026 you have to email support? if i could give zero stars i would please go with anyone else!
Absolute rubbish service
Absolute rubbish service. The payments never deduct from my account and they always threaten to cancel service but not fix the issue nor do they offer a pay over the phone service or anything. my internet is meant to be 500/50 and I get 18.1 and 12.4 majority of the time. No attempt to rectify the payment issues can only off "upgrade" to fix drop outs. Its literally a shell company. DO NOT RECCOMMEND.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
This company is a scammer. Connections keep dropping out. When I want to cancel my service, they make everything difficult. The service should be cancelled on 9th Feb 2026, but until now 19th Feb they still haven’t cancelled the service. They kept dragging this for long time, so they can take money out from my bank account. I have been calling and emailing them, but they still haven’t canceled the service. I will lodge a complaint about this company to ACCC if they haven’t cancelled the service until tomorrow. What a nightmare. I regretted to sign up this company. For people out there who tried to sign up with ARCTEl, think twice!! Stay away from this company!
Not worth the hassle, speeds suck and customer service is bad.
Upgraded the plan online as Arctel said I could not do it over the phone. Another month later they had not cancelled the previous plan I was on so was billed in one month for 2 separate plans. They gave me 2 different AVC I'd's with the same address details so they could get away with it. When I received my following monthly invoice I immediately phoned them to tell them of their mistake and I requested a refund. Was told to email them. Since then they have ignored all my emails and not cancelled the old plan or refunded the extra money they took from my account. Have made a complaint with the TIO. Speeds were very poor.
Works for me, Good price
I have been with Arctel for several months now and had no issues. I required an upgrade to bring fibre into the home and this was all arranged through Arctel. When I have email them I have received prompt replies. The service has been reliable, I work from home many days and have had no problems.
Cancellation Ignored – Extremely Poor Customer Service
Submitted a written cancellation request on 20/01/2026 as required by their website. Repeated follow-ups received no written response or confirmation. Instead, received inappropriate early-morning phone calls. Very poor communication and unacceptable handling of cancellations. Would not recommend
