It’s always difficult visiting any garden Centre with someone in a wheelchair- AP greeted us with tea and biscuits we found the shrub we wanted (forgot it’s name - but AP sent us the info), at closing time members of staff were relaxed and didn’t hurry us along. We’ve been doing business with AP for over 20 years and will look forward to our next visit. John and Sarah

We had an exemplary professional service from this company. From design to execution everything was done with knowledge expertise and pragmatism. Elis was fantastic. He took time and thought to absolutely drill down on what the site required. I would unhesitatingly recommend this company. It is rare to find a company attuned to your particular requirements and then translates them into exactly the reality you envisaged. The finished garden is beautiful and was planted quickly. They went above and beyond. Elis is singled out as he took considerable time and trouble to ensure we got exactly what we wanted.

I ordered a Rosmarinus Gorizia, it was advertised as being between 40-50cm high and 20-50cm wide, the one I received was just 30cm high and 25cm wide, although a nice plant which hopefully will grow I am disappointed as for the price I paid I was expecting a larger plant.

We have recently returned to Architectural Plants for our third garden design project. The team are great to work with, they speak our language, make great specimen suggestions in response to our design ideas....and, most importantly, genially steer us away from plants we would be likely to kill!!

For this project, we worked closely with the logistics team, successfully working through ways we could mitigate costs to bring the total closer to our budget. We were then blown away by the installers. It was clear that Fred and the team worked together regularly. From the time they arrived, the energy levels, banter, passion and professionalism was impressive.
They were used to clients being picky and changing their minds, more than once. They exhibited
saint-like patience throughout!!
All in all, a first class experience and team effort. We are delighted with the result, the planting has transformed our garden and we want to extend our thanks to all those involved.

We only have a small garden but it includes a much loved Birch tree - Betula Jacquemontii - which needed pruning without spoiling the beautiful nature of the tree. Jay was so helpful in arranging this at the correct time of the year and Simon & Paul carried out this work this morning. They were so friendly, as are the whole team at Architectural Plants, and we are delighted with their work. A visit to their wonderful nursery is a treat and there is so much advice on hand when choosing your plants and trees. They are indeed a very special company!

We’ve just renovated our new home and weren’t sure how to elevate our back garden. A friend recommended Architectural Plants near Pulborough (we’re in Horsham), and we were amazed by the variety of trees, plants and flowers on offer. Our garden isn’t big enough for some of the larger specimens we fell in love with, but it was still a joy to wander around and get ideas — in fact, it made a great day out in itself.

We ended up buying a beautiful evergreen Japanese maple plus a few garden accessories, and they’ve instantly lifted the space. The nursery is well laid out, inspiring, and perfect for browsing whether you’re planning a full redesign or just looking for that one special plant.

Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

I cannot praise this company enough. They transformed our garden, magically over three days providing all of the full size or nearly full size bushes, plants and trees.

Our experience began with a tentative enquiry about our dull back garden, worn out with years of football and children playing in it. Our designer created the loveliest hand drawn garden, accompanied by a detailed breakdown of the suggested plants and the reasons behind each one. We then spent a lovely afternoon walking round the nursery watching the sold tags being placed on our gorgeous plants.
On the day the team arrived, all smiles and within a few hours the ground was prepared and the planting began under the watchful eye of the designer.

What I loved about Architectural Plants was the involvement, that they kept us fully in the loop, were keen to listen to our ideas and to incorporate our pond into the overall design.

When people now see our garden you can guarantee the first reaction is wow, followed by a guided tour. For much less than the price of a new kitchen we have the garden of our dreams. We absolutely love it, love the care and attention the team lavished on the design and installation and how nothing was too much trouble.
I have recommended them several times over because in my opinion and that of my husband, they exceeded on everything. I would give them 6 gold stars if I could.

AP is just simply brilliant! I would highly recommend them. The help we got was excellent and the plants arrived in immaculate condition. This is the only place to go to in my opinion if you want excellent service, great value, and a fantastic garden that I will be able to enjoy for many years to come!

Recently discovered this gem. It's a lovely environment bursting with an enormous variety of trees, shrubs, bushes, grasses and all sorts of other treasures. We turned up unannounced but were made very welcome by Jenny. Easy to book an appointment on their website. Doug was very knowledgable and helpful, taking the time to show us around the whole range. The planting team were a credit to AP, friendly, courteous and considerate. Very pleased with the end result. Will definitely use again.

I have used Architectural plants to create a show garden and the end result is outstanding. The quality of the plants provided was outstanding and now a year after they planted them it is looking absolutely stunning.
Not only were the plants of great quality the customer service has been outstanding from walking me through their impressive selection to installation and aftercare I couldn't be happier.

I have recently used Architectural Plants for plant maintenance, as well as for new evergreen features and topiary design. Exemplary service both on and off site, firstly when meeting the team for advice on what’s right for my garden, as well as when conducting the work at my home. It’s a beautiful place to visit too, the selection is amazing - fully recommend.

The team at AP are always extremely helpful, have so much knowledge about their plants and generally cannot do enough to ensure I am happy.
These guys are nothing short of excellent!!

I so wanted to buy one of their plants. But when I went to checkout it was collect only. Apparently, they will deliver to TR9 but not to TR12!!
TR9 is not that far away and we go their all the time. Every other online plant seller will deliver to us.
What on earth is the matter with them?

After sales slightly iffy in our experience. Spent a material amount on some mature trees. Had some changeable watering advice and responsiveness slipped considerably after point of sale. Won’t use again.

Although we live locally, we had never visited this nursery before. It is an absolutely wonderful treasure trove for any plant lover, and we will be back (frequently!) The plants are all in superb condition, with an enormous variety to choose from. The staff are very professional and knowledgable, but also friendly and helpful. Can’t wait for the coffee shop and the event programme to open fully
