What a totally frustrating experience

I purchased an Arcam CDS50 streamer / CD player a few years ago and I have regreted it ever since. The CD player is fine but oh boy! what a disaster the streamer is. This is totally down to the utterly useless Musiclife App (by Harman) that you need to use to connect to the streamer. I have had numerous discussions over the years with their help desk without success. In fact the last discussion that took place the technical help person suggested I try using an alternative UPnP App instead. I would neither purchase nor recommend any Arcam products again. What a totally frustrating few years of ownership and listening experience I have had to endure. Having read numerous similar reviews on the Musiclife App, it seems I am not alone in my disappointment.
