Things you should know about my experience with Appsketiers when deciding who should develop your app idea.

1. I paid for the development phase in November of 2022.
2. In January of 2023 we agreed to the Business Requirements Specifications and I was given a 6-8 month timeline for development.
3. Appsketiers lets you know they go dark during development (this is atypical for dev companies as there are typically check ins with stakeholders to ensure development is on track according to the BRS or to agree on changes should something not be technically feasible for example).
4. In November of 2023 I was shown a demo of my app that was not fully functioning (the issues I could see were supposed to be resolved before they pushed to the app stores) however I had no access to test the app myself.
5. On the demo I asked about a testing environment and was told the only way for me to test my app was for it to be published. I pushed back on that because it seemed weird not to have an environment but they assured me that was the only way.
6. I signed off on pushing to the app stores so I could begin testing the application. The app was published after some back and forth with the app stores.
7. Once the app was published, it became apparent the BRS had not been met and I was made aware of numerous bugs. I ended up being bricked in the app from late November to January of 2024. Within a couple weeks the app bricked again completely giving me a blank screen.
8. In February of 2024 I expressed my disappointment and Appsketiers agreed the app wasn’t in a user ready state but said they would make it right.
9. In July of 2024 I was finally made aware that a testing environment does exist (TestFlight). This CAN be used pre-release FYI.
10. In July of 2024 I requested a refund as it appeared that Appsketiers was not capable of meeting the requirements we agreed to. I filed a BBB complaint as well as I believe Appsketiers misrepresented what they could deliver. They refused.
11. In August of 2024 I provided them with a comprehensive review of where the app and the BRS differed, including the overall goal of the BRS not being met (this is still true as of the time of this writing).
12. Appsketiers said the UX/UI Design should not be considered part of the BRS though there are screenshots throughout the BRS of the design.
13. In September of 2024 Appsketiers disagreed the BRS has not been met and stated they would be withholding pushing the latest version until I remove my complaint. Something to keep in mind when reading through reviews though everyone can draw their own conclusion.
14. They are also suggesting they will file a defamation suit though as a consumer, I am entitled to share my factual experiences based on my interactions with a product or service per the Consumer Review Fairness Act.
15. It’s important to note that Appsketiers says that by signing the release agreement I was agreeing the BRS had been met. I was made to believe publishing was the only way I could test my app so at the time I signed I would have had no way of knowing where the app and the BRS differed aside from taking their word for it. Appsketiers also agreed in 2024, long after the app was published and the release agreement was signed, that the app was not in a user ready state. I’m not sure how it’s possible for me to sign off on something I didn’t even have access to review. I simply thought I needed to sign so I could gain access.

The app is called Social Queues and I’m sure there would be no issues pointing everyone to it as an example of the quality of work Appsketiers delivers. Note: there are newer builds that have not been published as I will not be removing the facts of my experiences with this company.

Additional Note: Since I posted the above review on Google, Appsketiers has reached out to publish the latest build to the App Stores (although the latest builds still do not fulfill the requirements in the BRS) citing a misunderstanding. Given the nature of the past several months working with them, I have requested a pause in our working relationship until the matter is resolved through the necessary channels.

Appsketiers is truly a professional app development company with highly skilled talent that really cares about making your dream a reality! The staff is super knowledgeable, stays in contact with you throughout the entire process, and answers any and all concerns with the upmost expertise. In short, it wouldn't make sense to go anywhere else!

Great communication from the team so far. Their understanding of our app idea was immediate and they have knocked it out of the park in phase 1. They have been clear and upfront about the whole process so there are no surprises. Ready to keep the process going into phase 2 shortly.

THE APPSKETIERS, are some really awesome guys. They are professional, communication is great and I can't say it enough. Any questions I had they answered and they kept me in the loop about my project which was very important. I have tried 2 other companies, I will not name, who were not even half as equal to the team I am working with. I have 4 projects with this team and they have shown me that I am with the right people. I would give them 25 🌟 but it will look like spam so we're just going to have to stick with 5 🌟🤩. I would recommend them 100%.

Four Years , still not completed. We Contracted with Appsketiers in the spring of 2020 to develop an App for a startup business.We paid them upfront as per request a substantial sum of money. To this date, May 2024, now four years later. the app build was not completed as per design specifications with changes in functionality which were not pre- approved. Status, still non functional. We are repeatedly told bugs are still being worked out. We have exhausted all efforts at this juncture

So far Keamon Maggard has been helpful by being informative regarding my app that is in working progress. He follows up with me and keeps me updated on the process of my my app.
