5 years ago, I tried to get a mortgage, the Sophie did all the research however it wasn't meant to be, fast forward 6 months and BOOM we got an amazing deal. No question was too silly and I was given plenty of options! Sophie has remortgaged me twice since and this time managed to get equity out of my home for improvements, shes worked for socks off, not only is she down to earth, friendly and honest but her knowledge about the market/products is second to none! The team here are brilliant i've recommended them to many friends!

Quick, easy and hassle free with Paul since 2015 and always my go to for renewing

I first contacted Approved Mortgage Solutions Ltd in January 2018 for a further advance on my property. As of July 2018 the application still hadn't been submitted. I called numerous times and my calls were never answered. Paul promised to ring me back and never did. I would ring Paul several times per day, leave voice messages, text him to request a call back and I even phoned his office.

I have never had such service from any company ever.

As a result, if I got a fixed term product now I would have to stay with my existing mortgage provider on their variable rate and as such it will cost me more money. All because Approved Mortgage Solutions failed to call me back and/or submit the application. I didn't know whether to submit an application myself or not because there was no correspondence from the company at all.

The advance money was needed to make house repairs and the money should be already in my account with the working starting in Summer 2018 as my wife and I are expecting another newborn later in the year. Thanks to the negligence of Approved Mortgage Solutions this will no longer be happening and as further advance products are fixed for 2 years I could be waiting until 2020 before we begin any work on our family home.

I cannot recommend this company or Paul after this bout of poor service. I used to champion this company for dealing with my first mortgage and have given referrals but I will no longer be doing so. I did turn a blind eye to having an application made on my behalf for buildings insurance which I didn't want when I bought my first house (an application was made despite me saying Inwould get my own insurance, I found a like for like product for one third of the price I would have paid if I took Approved Mortgage Solution's recommendation, for which they received a handsome commission for).

Very disappointed. Known Paul for 9 years too which made this review difficult to post but the service was so bad and I feel I've been made a fool of that I believe other potential clients should at least be careful.
