UNISWAP happily trades in scam currencies. The exchange goes in one direction, but not in the other. I didn’t get scammed on other exchanges, only here. If you want to lose your money, trade on uniswap! Here's an example of scam:

Scam!

I tried to swap tokens, it said cost will be $40. I started the process, was charged $15 for a contract making. Then came the actual swap. Price $200! Of course I canceled it as it would be almost as much as the crypto was worth. Now I lost the 15 and got no swap.

The customer service won't answer. Why would they. Bate and switch scam site and nothing else.

Not decentralised, this company is not what crypto was invented for. It was invented to get rid of middle men.

It can't be that such scams happen on this platform without what was done. It became clear relatively quickly that it was a scam token 4.5 million mc that the token would continue to be traded up to 4.3 billion without any consequences. Users were not warned at all Obvious things or it is made untradable and so damages in billions of amounts are caused. You know there is no liquidity to exchange back but the first trade the scammer wallets are not blocked, it's just sad and you don't need to calculate with compensation even though they would have made enough can

Es kann nicht sein, dass auf dieser Plattform solche Betrügereien passieren, ohne dass etwas unternommen wurde. Es wurde relativ schnell klar, dass es sich um einen Scam-Token im Wert von 4,5 Mio. mc handelte, der bis zu 4,3 Mrd. mc weiter gehandelt werden würde, ohne dass es Konsequenzen hätte. Nutzer werden überhaupt nicht vor offensichtlichen Dingen gewarnt oder es wird unhandelbar gemacht und so entstehen Schäden in Milliardenhöhe. Sie wissen, dass keine Liquidität zum Zurücktauschen vorhanden ist, aber beim ersten Handel werden die Wallets der Betrüger nicht blockiert, es ist einfach traurig und Sie müssen nicht mit einer Entschädigung rechnen, obwohl sie genug gemacht hätten

Lost 150 bucks on these scammy pairs, i know its my fault but they shouldnt be listed on the platform first of all

A disapointment...
As always, it started with good intentions, now is corrupt/sold-out centralized.
While lots of obvoius scam coins and honeypots are left there, they delist a coin just because a ridiculous unfounded SEC claim...

If you are into crypto because you want to remove yourself from the centralised control of legacy finance beware! There are entities in the crypto space that behave just as the centralised legacy financial institutions from which you are trying to escape from.
Uniswap is a centrally controlled operation with all the pitfalls and foibles that go with that structure.
Stay away!!

Being an early adopter of Uniswap and part of the investors that made it popular it's especially disheartening to witness their biased actions. The 1st rule of being decentralized is that your protocol is CENSORSHIP RESISTANT. This is an extremely important safety net & reassurance that protects users from the everchanging laws in any 1 jurisdiction. Not only did Uniswap blatantly prove they ARE NOT decentralized, they proved to other projects that they won't even give them the decency of seeing how court cases shake out and will immediately disenfranchise & abandon users.

Talk about self destruction, Sellouts to the max.

You have the audacity to de-list Hex. SEC puppet. Remember the Hex community supported you in the early days. Why don't you de-list all the scam coins.

It’s become centralised

When you keep listing literally scam coins with no utilities but you remove tokens because SEC? Don’t call your self DEX. This is Centralised exchange. So stay away from Uniswap if you are after true DEX experience.

You cant call yourself a dex and then go and remove a token like hex for no reason. Thats the actions of a centralized exchange. Its false advertisement and thats what uniswap is doing.

This is a centralized cex and will freeze or lock your funds out at any time. I strongly recommend not using this cuz you can use things like dydx or sushiswap

As a past user of uniswap, I would use it for HEX, but now for some reason they regulated HEX and are obviously centralized. SMH.

I have been a "customer" (user) of Uniswap for years, so many times that I can't really count.

Lately, they've gone against what we thought their purpose was. Until they change this practice, just know there are several competitors out there to use.
