The Center IS a Place of Hope!
I have known the Founder of The Center, Dr. Greggory Jantz, for a number of years and have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with both Dr. Jantz and his incredible staff at The Center. I have come to know a number of the staff people and am extremely impressed with their knowledge, gifts, skills and preparatory education to do the work of counseling and advising of all who come for help. No matter the issue of the those coming to The Center, they will be treated as a special person, because they are.
The deep commitment of the Staff to help those in needs is evident in the time the Staff spend with their clients. It is true, as people come to The Center for help, help can come if they willingly work in concert with the Staff to final solutions and change for their life. I feel honored to work with such an amazing group of people. I find myself constantly praying for those who do all the hard work of helping others to be all they can be to live happy, healthy and productive lives.
I highly recommend The Center to those who need the help that The Center can give them. I must also say, there is a sense of "God-presence" when being a part of all that goes on at The Center. I am honored to be one who gets to challenge the Staff from time to time to be the best that they can be. It is "A Place of Hope" and to give HOPE to those in need is one of the most important things any of us can give to others. No matter who they are!
I highly recommend The Center
I highly recommend The Center, A Place of Hope. I have collaborated with Center staff and its co-founder, Dr. Gregg Jantz, on numerous projects over the last decade. With Dr. Jantz to the whole medical and administrative team, I have experienced professionalism and authentic compassion for everyone who is in need. The Center takes a holistic approach that I would love to see every similar facility take across the country.
As a pastor
As a pastor, you may have a sense you need help; your just not always sure who you can trust. I first learned about Dr. Gregg Jantz and his amazing team of counselors when we faced a series of health crisis in our family. A trusted pastor and mentor told me about, The Center. Their holistic team approach to assessing our family's physical, emotional and spiritual well being was the best I have ever seen or experienced! I believe, just like a valued Fortune 500 company needs a board of directors; we need a personal board of directors; people qualified to help us as pastors navigate our unique challenges. A place we can trust. The Center, and Dr. Gregg Jantz have been that place for our family!
The Center has truly changed my life
The Center has truly changed my life..This program offered me a "dig deep" transformational process that addressed my whole self. I experience a deep sense of generosity and learned life long skills to practice ongoing that has changed my relationships both with my self and those I care about. I had worked deeply on personal improvement in the past but nothing has been as life affirming and empowering and supportive as what I experienced at The Center. I can honestly say I incorporate these skills and my self care every day. Blessed & Grateful...Thank You!
The Center truly IS a place of HOPE!!
OK, I have nothing but fabulous things to say about The Center. I can say each and every staff member truly cares about their patients. Beginning with the initial admissions team conversations, the program is specifically tailored to exactly what you need. If you are looking for help and hope, this is certainly the right place to be!!
Wholistic...Professional...Collaborative…
Wholistic...Professional...Collaborative Care. The Center is a spa for the soul. Care is catered to one's specific needs. Each day a team of experts look at every part of you and them compare notes, and I mean every part of you. Dr. Gregory Jantz and his team are top notch care-givers. The journey inward is the most arduous course any person can ever take. It is one we must all traverse and thank God there are places like The Center to aid us in this expedition. In a world of turmoil and trouble, The Center truly is A Place of Hope. Do yourself, and your family a favor, and go for 2-4 weeks. You will never regret it!
The Center is the best. Place. Ever.
The Center is the best. Place. Ever. The culture of the facility is what sets it apart in mind. It is an atmosphere like none other where it is okay to not be okay. There are no masks or pretensions. The world-class professionals that compose personal teams are nothing short of amazing. They are warm, caring individuals who excel in their respective fields. The whole person approach to treatment is unique among treatment centers, but The Center has captured it in the most effective way. Yet, I am convinced that The Center's excellence is rooted in it's attention to Christian faith and spirituality. By no means is The Center limited Christians. You don't have to believe in anything to go there, but if faith is a part of your life, you seamlessly make it a part of your healing, regardless of what type of faith it is. Truly, The Center is a safe place to be. It has changed my life for the better, and I am forever grateful for the kindness of Dr. Jantz and his wonderful team.
This place provided a real turning…
This place provided a real turning point in my life. I can't thank the staff there enough for the work they do.
Difficult but definitely worth it!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is seriously struggling with mental illnesses of most any kind. It was one of the hardest thing I've ever chosen to do and it was absolutely worth it. I learned things there that have helped me control worry, anxiety, and especially depression far better than anything else.
The only caveat is that if you choose to live in one of their free (and pretty nice, as I understand) housing units, they are very controlling. They restrict what you're allowed to bring and will actually take electronics from you for a week or more. Appallingly, the admissions team will lie constantly during the intake process about the rules for their housing units in order for them to seem less unreasonable.
Despite this, I strongly recommend this place, especially if you decide to live away from their housing units.
Truly the most skilled & most caring staff.
Truly the most skilled & most caring staff. Easily the most worthwhile experience of my life. I'd be happy to be their spokesperson. Thank you for investing in my life!
35 days and waiting for 12,000 to be returned and no communication from them!
Well, its been 5 days over waiting 30 full days to receive a refund that we were told we would get. They took $12,000 of my Mother's money on 4/12 and I decided to not attend on 4/13. I never signed any contract stating I would attend. I have to assume by now (because we have e-mailed twice, called 4 to 5 times, left 3 voice messages with no response) they may not give us our money back. I hope that is not the case, but they have not reassured us.
How ridiculous is it that a place called "A Place Called Hope" will leave you hanging with no communication regarding $12,000 they took for services you have NOT received. And they do this to someone with known PTSD, anxiety and depression. Someone they knew was going to have a difficult time financially affording the services anyhow. And someone who is waiting for SSDI and could use the money for basic survival or other treatment services. My Mom and I have both tried and they do not even have the common decency to return a call or write and e-mail to reassure us the money will be returned. We were told 30 days or earlier. It is day 35 and they are not returning my Mom's phone calls.
We'll see what tomorrow brings. Will be getting legal advice soon if the money doesn't show. It's not like I don't have all the communication to them through e-mail and screen shots of our attempts when we called and heard nothing back. Very traumatic experience for someone already suffering from PTSD.
This experience has destroyed my confidence in these types of treatment centers and will likely discourage ever seeking treatment like this again.
UPDATE: Yesterday afternoon, after this review was posted, my Mother received word that the money was put in her bank "last night". This AM my Mother reported that had received a portion of the funds back and the other is coming hopefully soon: today or tomorrow. I am uncertain as to why if the money was coming, they could not give us an return call OR an e-mail confirming so. ANYONE would be anxious about $12,000 when the money was not returned in the time they specified and then they neglect to communicate with you.
The other obvious issue is that my post had to be investigated because this organization falsely stated that I was reviewing a place across the country.
BASICALLY, I feel VIOLATED because this entity that I gave ALL of my most private information about my mental health issues and trauma, not only neglected to have the common courtesy to communicate about a large sum of money that we were anxiously awaiting to receive that we had paid a month earlier, they also refused to acknowledge accountability of their neglect and made a FALSE statement that they were the correct organization. I not only gave them $12,000, but disclosed a lot of personal information in an intake assessment and in some homework they requested.
Having this experience (and quite frankly others when seeking mental health services) has destroyed my confidence and discouraged me from ever seeking help. I have turned to other types of assistance: Yoga Therapy, DBT class, etc. But, will probably not EVER reach out to a center again.
It felt awful for my Mom and me to worry daily if the money would return and once the 30 days expired, it not be there and no one returned our calls or answered our e-mails.
I can't trust an organization that lies about me reviewing the wrong organization, yet, I gave them my whole mental health history and sensitive information. ICK. Violated.
An extremely bad experience. I am relieved the funds are coming back, but feel sick about the whole experience. They also should know that taking that long to return that amount of money possible could prevent someone from going elsewhere when they really need the help. That's all.... I would not recommend this place because they are not trustworthy and you can find a DBT group, meditation classes, yoga therapy, a nutritionist without having to empty your pockets to people who are dishonest and neglect to communicate, causing anxiety and concern when you already have enough issues.

The Center changed me and my life
I am grateful for the tools and skills I received at the Center.
The staff is amazing, world class, and the empathy and patience is so important.
It has changed my life. What else can I say!
Thank you
The Center Saved Me
The Center saved my life. The entire staff is incredible and very knowledgeable. I was able to begin my journey of healing from an abusive relationship. I was able to begin my journey of learning to love myself, learning to be comfortable with who I am, and not needing to lean on other people for approval or validation. I highly recommend The Center.

The care was very intensive and treats the WHOLE person! This is a wonderful facility to go to if you really want help.
This experience changed my life …
This experience changed my life forever, I recommend it to all those people that need any kind of help in their lives., My team and all the staff was the best I could ever expected
The Center is a Slam Dunk
This company's practices are directly aligned with their values. They truly want to help. No place is perfect, of course, but my 6 weeks at The Center helped me get my life back. The organization specializes in DBT, which I believe will prove invaluable for me in navigating my depression. The Center is a particular good fit for people of the Christian faith; however, as a non-Christian, I can say wholeheartedly that I was treated with respect and guided through a comprehensive treatment plan that helped me grow as a human being. Of almost equal importance is the community you create with other clients -- I have formed long-lasting bonds with many of my fellow clients, and their laughter and empathy helped me get through the rough periods. If you are struggling with mental illness, trauma, or addiction, The Center can help you.
I Love the Center
The Center has done so much for me! It changed my life. From Dr Jantz on down to the front office staff are first class. This is a great place to get the help you need and set a foundation to springboard a new beginning. All the clinicians are master-leveled and Believers. Great place of HOPE

Left Not Feeling Healed
I urge you to take your healing into your own hands at The Center and ask for what you need. If your roommates are not a good match, tell your main therapist. If a fellow client in one of your groups or groups is causing problems for you, tell your main therapist. If you are not receiving the treatment you expected to receive, tell your main therapist. If they keep messing up your lunches, tell your main therapist. Your treatment team may not do anything, which is a big problem right there, but you MUST stand up for yourself or your time there will be wasted. You must be your own advocate to get what you need at this facility. Also, if you do not like dark skies and rain for days on end, it's probably best that you do not go to The Center. Keep in mind that the closest place to buy groceries is at the hardware store, which is within walking distance. Otherwise, you have to catch a bus. The town is a bit expensive with regard to food and clothing. There is not a lot to do at night unless you go to the coffee shop owned by wife of the owner of The Center, the Starbucks, the library or the gym. God is heavily focused on, so if that is a problem for you, you may want to choose another facility. Overall, I left with some new skills, but in no way do I feel like I got what I paid for.

The Center staff is compassionate and …
The Center staff is compassionate and professional. They are trustworthy and committed to helping their clients succeed. This was one of the most impactful experiences of my life. My thought processes were adversely affecting every part of my life. My time here has transformed me. For the first time in my life, I feel comfortable in my own skin. I learned the importance of self-compassion here. I understand what I need to do to maintain a sense of peace and order in my life regardless of my circumstances - personal and professional. My walk with Christ is renewed. If you're not a Christian, rest assured The Center's approach is based on scientific research. They draw from leaders in the field of psychology to customize your treatment to meet your needs. Your spiritual beliefs/preferences will be honored.
If you feel like your life is tangled up, if you feel overwhelmed by your circumstances, if you've lost hope, this is where you can find insights and skills to help you change the trajectory of your life. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone considering The Center to call admissions and discuss your situation. My healing began with that first call.
The Center
The care and tools that were provided at The Center were life changing. The teams work together to provide the best care for each individuals needs. I would highly recommend The Center to anyone who is in need of guidance and is ready to put in the work.
