Morning Antony, We are very disappointed in this review, we believe the review doesn't quite give a opening to the whole job. You asked us to replace some badly fitted laminate to your upstairs bedrooms and landing because they had been fitted with no expansion gap and causing the stud walls to squeak and the floor below. Upon our inspection we advised replacing the flooring with carpet and underlay, you was sent 3 quotations, 1 being uplift and refitting of the laminate, 2 being replacement to the bedrooms only and the 3rd being replacement of the bedrooms and landing. You chose to replace all bedrooms and the landing. We never once said it would eliminate all the flooring noise. When we uplifted and fitted the new carpets to a very high standard including moving all furniture at no extra cost, after completion you was more than happy with the standard of fitting supplied. You then called the next morning to advise not all the noise had disappeared, we then told you to give it a couple weeks for the floor boards and walls to settle due to being under pressure from the badly fitted laminate. You then rang 5 or 6 hours later to make the the finale payment, we never once asked for this and you made this payment of your own accord. we offered to return to screw the subfloor down on the landing, with a date set a text was received saying you was not going to be in in the morning we had said and as you can imagine we cant just move jobs about. As far as being fobbed off with a pack of lies we don't seem to have had any calls or visits to the shop to stress your concern. This job was completed on the 29th of April, payment was made on the 30th April and this is the first contact we have had with you since, the word you paid for was completed and far as we no you have lost no moneys.
