Attended the SUP trip to Slovenia and it was nothing short of amazing. The activities were all so well organised, led by two fantastic instructors with really great kit. The hotel was super cute, with lovely staff and delicious food. Couldn’t recommend this tour more highly! Thanks Apex :)

What a fantastic, well organised trip! We had a brilliant ('P/Board Bible' author no less!!) trip co-leader with us as well as the main organiser & support vehicle driver/leader, Jonny. Both highly professional, friendly & supportive. Can't thank/praise them enough. We were so well looked after both on & off water. Wholeheartedly recommend; the trip was exceptional value & great, great fun. What an experience! Will definitely be looking to go on another APEX trip.

Our students had a great time with APEX on their DofE practice and assessed expeditions. The staff were very well liked by the students, the whole process ran very smoothly and everything was extremely organised.

This week has been so amazing that I am almost stuck for words.
The value of the trip was exceptional; I don't know how Apex can afford to run it for this value; they certainly can't be making much profit.
The other clients were great company; with a great balance of humour and depth, I have made new friends with people I hope to meet up with again.
Jonny, the expedition leader was magnificent; he was always ahead of the game, able to adapt to changing circumstances deftly, and without fuss, while keeping the focus on the clients, their progress and wellbeing.
Dave the paddling guide was very informative, not just giving padding advice and guidance, but also hugely knowledgeable about the wildlife we encountered. I had presumed that Dave would lead the trip on the water, but realised on reflection, that he gave enough space for us the clients to coordinate and make the decisions, and this was intentional.
The food was fantastic; breakfasts, lunches and evening meals; all tailored to the needs/dietary requests of the group.
My only regret, and Apex could have done nothing about this, was that I slept badly, and that with better sleep I'd have been able to enjoy it even more. But in a way, that actually contributed to the challenges of the adventure.
I would (and am doing so) highly recommend Apex to everyone I know and via social media. I would love to do another Apex experience, and hope to do so, possibly the Slovenia trip, or maybe one of the Dorset trips.
This was without doubt, the best organised, most enjoyable experience holiday I've ever had, and cannot think of any way it could be improved.

Slovenia trip - this trip was epic very well run good value for money beautiful scenery hotel clean tidy and comfortable food good. Tour of Slovenia and sup locations were breath taking … 100% highly recommend this company .

What a brilliant experience, i would totally recommend this trip to any water-based adventurer.
As soon as we met our Slovenian tour guide we knew it was going to be a great trip. Also having an Apex Rep with us in case there were any issues was an added bonus.
We were very pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel and rooms were, its located in a beautiful small village. The itinerary was well planned and every day was a fantastic experience, all you had to do was turn up and the rest was sorted for you, it was so easy. It was worth every single penny! I'd happily book another trip with Apex.

Everything felt a little disorganised to begin with, mainly to do with accommodation and parking but once things got going I quickly realised I was in the company of people who really care and are passionate not just about the water and the crafts we use on it, but passing on the knowledge and experience they have acquired (a variety of people = a huge variety of experiences). In short I loved my time with the Apex crew. I learned a lot, had a lot of fun (and quiet moments) on the water but most importantly found a new confidence in myself. That was priceless.

My experience with Apex was amazing. Our Sup beginners weekend was perfect. The team are enthusiastic, welcoming and love sharing their knowledge and tips and tricks with you. I will be booking another experience with them in the future!

Jo our instructor immediately put everyone at ease, with her relaxed and funny manner. She was great at explaining and re assuring. The experience itself was amazing! Such fun and so enjoyable. Equipment provided was great, no issues with anything. But Jo did make you feel nothing would be too much trouble and her sparkly personality definitely added to the day. The on the water photos were great and already in use as screen savers 😂
Communications throughout with Apex were excellent. It was all made very friendly and as I have said fun! Thank you for making a special day brilliant ! 😁😁😁

A fantastic family trip to try out paddle boarding! Friendly, helpful and the perfect length for an introductory session. Highly recommended.

We had been wanting to try SUP for some time now but the moment never felt right or many other things got in the way. We came to visit the Jurassic coast and found the experience offered to learn paddle while visiting Old Harry's Rocks witj Apex and jumped at the chance. Our coach and guide was Jonny and we had a blast, SUP is both easier and harder than expected, and so much fun. The scenery was breathtaking and the weather played in our favor. We were very happy at the end of the day.

I can’t recommend Apex enough. From our initial enquiry through to our day paddleboarding around Brownsea nothing was too much trouble. The team are safe, supportive, informative and fun. We felt safe and looked after from start to finish. Can’t wait for our next adventure.

Jeremy made my daughter and I feel completely at ease which I was grateful for being a complete newbie to paddle boarding. He was duly very safety conscious and made the whole trip a fun and enjoyable experience including a swim beneath the rocky outcrop. I would thoroughly recommend the 4 hour SUP expedition to the Old Harry Rocks.

Had the most amazing experience on my recent paddleboarding tour of Old Harry's Rock (and the now newly named "twist and shout" ledge!) courtesy of Apex Expeditions.

As a keen SUP'ler in sheltered water, I wanted to find an experienced guide with whom I could put my utmost confidence in to ensure my first sea paddle was navigated safely, and to visit Dorset's Old Harry from a unique perspective. Jeremy did not fail and I cannot recommend Jeremy and Apex Expeditions enough.

Booking was easy, and communication clear (including a change to the launch site due to altered conditions). The equipment was well serviced and exceeded my expectations - the board was perfect to give me confidence, as did the buoyancy of Apex's choice. Jeremy was an excellent guide - warm, welcoming, engaging and exuded an infectious calmness.

As for Old Harry, wow! To get up so close, be dwarfed by the stack, hear the changes in the sea's song (it was its own orchestra), and see the unique formations in the rock as the sea shapes and chisels it... it has to have been a dream.

Wonderful morning with a great tour guide Dave. He was very patient whilst we spent most of our time falling in the water! And he was clear with his instructions. We got there in the end and loved it! Thank you!

For anyone wanting to learn to Paddleboard this is an excellent weekend to learn & pick up the skills you need.

We spent our first day at Studland, paddling out to Old Harry’s Rocks, the Saturday was windy so we headed to Wareham on the river, a different experience altogether & finally spent the Sunday at Portland practicing our new found skills.

It was well organised & good value for money. Spent two nights staying in Weymouth in a lovely guest house (room & breakfast excellent). Jonny our instructor & guide was brilliant, nothing was to much trouble, gave us lots of information & was very patient.

Now booked & looking forward to our next paddleboarding adventure with Apex.

Wow! What can I say…. The perfect experience from start to finish.
Amazing communication from Jonathan via email and by telephone when plans had to change last minute due to the British weather.
We met at the offices and were taken via minibus to the starting point of the SUP tour. Fab safety briefing and the kit we were given was top quality. 6 ladies (with varying degrees of paddle boarding experience) all felt safe at all times.
Our guides Johnny and Jo were so much fun and knowledgeable. The views we had when we reached Old Harry’s rocks were just stunning!
I highly recommend Apex Expeditions.
