Paid for next day delivery and ordered before cut-off time but part arrived two days later. Other than that, good customer service and part was the right fitment

Poor customer service

One of the 2 items ordered wasn't in stock at supplier, even though it was declared as in stock when I made the order. This suspended the order, but I wasnt informed. I chased 2 weeks later to find out that nothing had happened and there was no plan to do anything about it. I agreed to take a different brand. When the order was delivered, it was just left outside the house, even though the communication from DPD said it had been handed to a person. Your website says satisfaction guaranteed, which it hasn’t been, therefore your website is misrepresenting your operation.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry this experience has been frustrating.

When you placed your order, the item showed as in stock with our supplier, so we ordered it on that basis. Unfortunately the supplier did not notify us that it was unavailable, and the item never arrived. We should have followed this up sooner.

When you called us four working days later, we immediately chased the supplier and offered you an alternative item plus a partial refund, which you kindly accepted. We also agreed to dispatch the order on a specific day, so that it would arrive on your return from holiday.

DHL do not always require a signature and may leave parcels in a safe place.

We apologise that this fell short of the standard implied by our satisfaction guarantee. Your feedback is appreciated and will help us improve.

Very bad management I buy one small battery. I pay online. I call 10 times.
They said we delivered today tomorrow then they said DPD lost battery but two things they don’t have stock up to 2 weeks they refunded me back

Hi , many thanks for the feedback. I will investigate this internally regarding the missed phone calls. I can confirm however that you ordered 2 ( not 1) Yuasa 895 batteries from us on 2nd Jan and we despatched via DHL ( not DPD) on 5th January ( next working day) but it looks like DHL have lost the parcel -as per the tracking info send on our despatch confirmation - a link of which is provided here.

Excellent customer service!

There was an issue between my order being dispatched and it being scanned in at the courier. Ed was incredibly helpful and kept me updated regularly and was poised to send the order again when the courier confirmed it was in hand. Top work, APD.

Waited 5 days on battery paid 21 pound postage ,it was supposed to be free delivery and they cancelled the order this company is a discrase save yourself time and money by not buying frim them

I had a new bulb that failed within a week of receipt and fitting and it was replaced without quibble. Plus helpful discussion regarding specifications that were not clarified on the web-site.
You can 'phone and speak directly, usually with little delay, and I have always received patient and informed advice - which makes the interaction a pleasure not a chore.

Fast and efficient service!

Needed the item ordered urgently and local store didn't have it. Called and person I spoke to was very helpful and despite it being mid afternoon he despatched immediately to arrive next day. Price was good too. Excellent service.

Slow

Slow, needed prompting to send the order despite taking payment immediately, and one of the coil packs was slightly damaged (and the tamper sticker on the box was broken) when I unpacked them

This is due to the Christmas opening hours and staffing levels for both us and our supplier which is usually a very quiet time for car parts. Dreadful.

Dreadful.
I purchased online believing i could collect from my local store 3 miles away only to be told online orders are sent from Swindon 50 miles away.
I needed the parts urgently so tried cancelling but no one would answer the phone or reply to emails I placed order Monday morning and received them Friday afternoon. The 1 to 2 days delivery time turned out to be 3 days just for them to get it to Evri !!
WILL NOT USE AGAIN.
BTW my local apd shop are very good.

All we can do is hold our hands up to this one regarding the delivery time. We picked the product same day and the items should have been dispatched on Monday night for for reasons unexplained the product stayed in our despatch department for 2 extra days. This was entirely down to human error for which we can only apologise.

Regarding branch collection, this is not a service we currently advertise or offer so I am not sure where you got this assumption from. However if we were given prior notice of your desire to collect from the branch I am sure we could and should have accommodated and I have communicated that to the ecommerce team today.

Mr.Skoda is very pleased with his new arm. He says it is boyo and can’t wait to have it fitted.
He was also delighted to receive it within 24hrs… and who can blame him!

Ordered November 10th

Ordered November 10th. Despatched after a query at least 10 days late. As of today 2nd December it has not moved from Evri hub for 7days.

Great price item and nice people well recommended.

Sorted a problem out in minutes for me where DHL were rubbish the oil was delivered a couple of doors away. I would recommend and myself use again in the future but just ask for a different courier. The item was a great price and very nice people to talk to.

Their communications and customer care

Their communications and customer service is excellent. Through no fault of APD my order was lost in transit during delivery.
They kindly dispatched a replacement which arrived within 2 days of being sent.
I highly recommend APD who supplied a quality part and will be using again in the future.
