If I could give negative stars I would.
If I could give negative stars, I would. Months to even get through to a single person who knew their stuff, waiting quite literally hours on the phone, passed from department to department and then always hung up on. I cannot wait to refinance with another bank and close all of my accounts with ANZ
Waste Customer's time
Waste Customer's time. Never expect this bank will help you when you are in emergency. I was put on listening to the music for 1 hour and still waiting. I tried the second day, still, endless put on hold. No one help you!!! HOPELESS!!!
ANZ IS A DISGRACE AND A FINANCIAL ABUSER OF THE VUNERABLE
A Z is a disgrace, they financially abuse vulnerable people, cut people off from access to there money, do not investigate or even bother communicating about fraudulent withdrawals from my account, my mo ey just keeps going missing, they are rude and seemingly take pleasure in disabling my account to cut access off to my own mioney, well today ANZ find out about the vulnerable persons act, my account has continually been accessed and money taken, I have continually been cut off from accessing my own money, treated like a criminal when wanting to know where my money has gone, spoken to with lateral violence, .ANZ IS A FINANCIAL ABUSER!
actually starting to they that the ANZ are the scanners
ANZ Tuggeranong ACT - Customer Service
Attended ANZ Tuggeranong branch today after making an appointment online last night. Needed help accessing my account, changing password and activating a new card. Staff member Chandula helped me every step of the way to get the app on my phone, activate my new card, reset my password and log in. Very happy with the professional service provided by Chandula today.

Hi I am a long term customer of ANZ
Hi I am a long term customer of ANZ , on the 11th March my wife and I have little time together as we are very busy and work away . Today we took the day off work and went to Glenelg ANZ to create a joint account- no big deal , to our surprise we were told to make a booking next week .
I’m thought this is pathetic and went straight across the street to first choice bank in Glenelg , they saw us straight away and found it a great opportunity to swap all my accounts and home loan to First Choice .
ANZ is second rate now , was good 20 years ago . I’m still off at the ANZ for poor service , especially when I’m about to sell my house .
Wasted time trying to report certain…
Wasted time trying to report certain new failures using internet banking without anz app. To no avail. Payanyone & bpay transactions.
Absolutely furious with ANZ
Absolutely furious with ANZ. "Considered finalised," they say? After they failed to retrieve my stolen funds? Let me paint you a picture: I was scammed, a significant amount of money vanished, and I immediately reported it to ANZ. I followed their tedious dispute process, provided every shred of evidence, and waited. And waited. And waited.
Finally, I get a pathetic little email: "We regret to inform you that our attempt to recall the funds was unsuccessful due to a lack of response from the receiving bank. As such, ANZ considers this matter finalised."
Finalised? For them, maybe. For me, it's a financial disaster. Apparently, ANZ's "attempt" consists of sending a strongly worded email that gets ignored. And that's it. No further action, no escalation, just a shrug and "tough luck."
What's the point of having a bank if they can't even protect your money when you're a victim of fraud? They're quick enough to take your fees, but when it comes to actually helping, they’re utterly useless. They've essentially washed their hands of the whole situation, leaving me high and dry.
Avoid ANZ like the plague if you value your hard-earned money and expect any kind of support when things go wrong. They're a disgrace.
No service
I would give no stars if I could. My husband has been on hold now for 48 minutes with no answer so no outcome after receiving an email advising his debit card is going to be cancelled as he has two which he's had for many years. Do ANZ staff still work from home, is this the issue? This is totally unacceptable.
Impossible to contact a person by phone
I've had a number of banking issues over the past year. Have tried contacting ANZ by phone, they make it impossible to speak to a person unless the customer has a passcode and password.
I have made complaints to AFCA and ANZ have the nerve to say that they have no record of my attempts to contact them.
Total lack of customer service
ANZ keep reversing an authorised transaction from my savings account to my other savings account with another bank. I have been waiting on the phone for nearly one hour n still no contact. I am so frustrated that this happens regularly. Will be closing all my accounts and putting them with a bank that actually values its customers.
Would give them no stars if I could still write a review 😡😡
Dont even try to access online or phone help from ANZ
I first picked-up that phone banking was not reaching my account a month ago. I tried the online service. I detailed my case and was advised that the query would be answered. Each time I checked the link all it said was "case closed". This happened on every occasion. I tried calling. After 30 mins the line dropped-out. I managed to make some form of contact through Instagram and was assigned a complaint number and was asked to contact ANZ online. The debacle started all over again. I tried calling and after 20 mins the line dropped out. I am now on hold for 50 minutes. Help!
I will give it a zero if possible.
I will give it a zero if possible.
App is terrible to the core.
The loign retrieving system is a disaster.
Call centre call challenges you with 4 mins of idiotic questions.
Wait times over 25 mins.
Best bank to ignore. Horrible
Mobile staff so rude and terrible
Mobile staff so rude and terrible product and service. My ANZ plus app has be lock, i has call for help take too long to get respond and i get to Mobile staff I have ever been with Poor customer service and very rude voice. Not secure enough and limited help Worst bank I have ever been with. Do not use the ANZ plus app!
Changing banks after this
I have been a long-time customer of ANZ but I've had enough. The customer service is beyond bad. I tried to correct the spelling of my name on my credit card (so that it matched my debit card) only to have the card cancelled and a new one issued without telling me! I had to change a whole bunch of Direct Debit arrangements, and when the new card arrived it still had the wrong spelling which was even different to the spelling on the envelope!! Now I have been on hold to report a scam for more than an hour......I will be changing banks after this.
Very Disappointing with there service
Very Disappointing with there service, long waiting on call, email request takes 2 business days, sms help line same .
Never go to ANZ.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service - Was scammed out $2000 and they did not care. The scammer was also and ANZ customer but they have wiped their hands of it. There are others who have been scammed by the same person, 1 person has recouped their money as they lodged a case with AFCA and it was only after this that they agreed to refund money. Disgusting - do not bank with ANZ.
Getting any suport is impossible
Getting any suport is impossible. Been waiting on the phone for over 30min before giving up, tried anz app messaging service and doesn't assist with my enquiry.
Work banking experience ever
Work banking experience everBanking at it's worst - very limited branches/ATMs, hardly any staff in branches, can't do any banking unless there is a booked appointment which can be 2-3 days away, unable to withdraw your own money when needed. But they are happy to charge monthly account keeping fees on our hard earned money.
I have been on the phone to their call-centre for last 45 minutes, waited to speak to a human being before they disconnected my call. They can't help me in a branch and I can't connect over the phone, what am I suppose to do.
How far low these corporates are going to fall and treat their clients like this while maximising their profits?
Worst customer service experience…
Worst customer service experience ever!!! Dragged me to hell and back, issue still not resolved. Applied for a new credit card end January, started charging me annual fee $320 and reward program fee $55 even before I activated the card !!! I am absolutely pissed off !!! Do yourself a favour _ DO NOT EVER IN YOUR LIFE BE A ANZ BANK CUSTOMER !!!!!!!!
