Some people claim the suction pad…
Some people claim the suction pad doesn't work. It does, on a smooth surface, as it says. It's rock solid, doesn't move, and really sharpens knives, though not good, apparently, for Japanese knives.

Amazing tool and easy to use
Amazing tool and easy to use. I've had a set of Global chef knives for years and thought about getting a new set because of how blunt they was becoming, but I saw any sharp on face book and thought I'd give it a try. Well let me tell you now if you have blunt knives buy this easy to use tool, it's a no brainier.

I bought the any sharp thinking it…
I bought the any sharp thinking it would be amazing.
Don't get me wrong it does sharpen the knives but I think it is too brutal in that with hardly any pressure when pulling a knife through to sharpen it it was taking small chunks of metal off leaving gouges in the knife. The knives are my wife's who is a chef and they are Viners so not cheap rubbish
