Any Old Vintage is run by the same team who created the award-winning Any Old Lights vintage lighting company, in Fowey, Cornwall, UK. In early summer 2023, we diversified to source and sell not just incredible vintage lighting, but also vintage and retro clothing & accessories, homeware & glassware, prints & posters, vinyl LPs & cassettes, as well as classic children's toys & games. Our ethos remains the same: we source only the beautiful, unusual and unique, and we pride ourselves on our fantastic, friendly customer service. Our bricks-and-mortar vintage store, set in a 1920's butcher's shop in the seaside town of Fowey, is where you will find all of our stock, from a vintage Ossie Clark dress to Ultravox's Quartet album on vinyl, or from a giant Suez Canal searchlight, mounted on a tripod, to a hand-knotted Afghan tribal rug. We have expert buyers in each of our departments, with a magpie-eye on the most sought-after and popular items. On our website, we simply don't have the time to list every item we have in-store, but you'll find a wide selection of our vintage stock - and you can always contact us if you're on the lookout for something particular. I could not be happier with my purchase. The clock is beautiful and even more unique and special looking in person. The shipping an communication with the store were smooth and easy...the shop owner even tried to expedite the shipment for me (got it out the same day) when I told him it was for my partner's birthday :). Overall couldn't be happier and will be coming back for more in the future!

Very nice old maritime products, they can be a bit pricy but you pay for good quality hard to find products.

Expensive lights rewired badly using…
Expensive lights rewired badly using old switches. Just taking the Mickey really. Had to rewire to be sure.

I'm very sorry you weren't satisfied with our product. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, and strive to solve any customer issue, so it's a shame this is the first we have heard of yours. Your particular vintage reclaimed lights arrive at our workshop more or less as shells and we try to use vintage switches and fittings to recondition them, in keeping with the original look. They require a lot of workshop time, which accounts for the price. I hope they achieved the look you were after once in situ.
Vintage ships lantern
The lantern was dispatched and delivered very quickly and also very well packaged. I’m not sure of whether the lantern was actually vintage as there’s several parts which are obviously new. I’m not sure if this is a replica or an old lantern which has been restored with some new parts. The description never mentioned anything about having been fitted with new parts. I would have returned it but couldn’t be bothered with the hassle that might have entailed.

Your lantern was sourced from a reputable supplier of vintage nautical lamps, was polished to a high standard, and I can assure you that it's not reproduction.
