The unlimited personalized feedback from Japanese professionals is a real highlight.
I started with the Premium subscription at $67 per month, which included a few new lesson videos each month. Each video was about 20 minutes long, showing a Japanese manga artist’s pen strokes in real time. The supplementary materials made it straightforward to review and practice afterward.
After a short time, I decided I preferred the one-time payment version of the same program. I contacted support to arrange a refund so I could switch, and the process was handled without any issues. The refund was completed quickly.
There was one occasion when the videos wouldn’t play because of a browser setting. I contacted support and received a reply shortly after, and the problem was resolved. It was useful to have both email and Discord available for contacting them.
One practical feature has been being able to submit practice drawings for feedback from Japanese animators. The feedback has been clear and constructive, and there’s no set limit on the number of questions that can be asked.
A free trial course is also available. Even during the trial, it was possible to get feedback from a Japanese professional, which helped in deciding whether to continue.
