Outstanding Experience with Andrews Group!

We recently had a double-storey side extension with a kitchen wrap-around completed by Andrews Group, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The project was completed in an impressive timeframe, with the team showing up every single day without fail — no chasing, no delays, just consistent, reliable progress.

Every tradesperson involved was professional, approachable, and easy to contact, which made coordinating different stages of the build incredibly smooth. The quality of the workmanship is top-notch, and the final result has exceeded our expectations.

We’re absolutely thrilled with the outcome and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrews Group to anyone looking for high-standard, hassle-free building work.

Andrews Construction use contractors and subcontractors who pay no regard to the noise abatement times. Today a welder was using a generator to weld an RSJ starting before 7am. The site manager Jono explained he did not know the times and anyway he had been woken up by a neighbours alarm that morning. We live in a world where no one seems to care.

I’m so glad we decided to choose Andrew’s extensions for our ground floor and garage renovations. Jono and the team guided us through the process from start to finish, delivering a fantastic end result. The different trades involved were all great and very accommodating and flexible with their work, accounting for the difficult position my wife was in with a toddler and two dogs, whilst I was overseas and the work was being completed.
Jono, and the other tradesmen where appropriate, were always reachable by the WhatsApp groups that were set up and always very responsive and understanding to change requests and queries.
We plan to complete a second floor extension at the property next and I will certainly be going to Andrews for the work.

Andrews completed a 2 story extension for us - creating an extra bedroom, bathroom, open plan kitchen/dining room and playroom and we are really pleased with the final build - it has transformed our home. Throughout the build we have been really impressed and happy with Andrews customer service and expertise. They have done a great job, including fitting the kitchen. Someone was always around when needed to help in urgent circumstances, or to pop around and have a chat when we had any questions. If we had any issues these were sorted really quickly and easily which was really appreciated. Andrew’s certainly made the build as stress free as possible, and their project management was great, and they were really good at working with other trades that we organised. We would use them again and recommend them.

Cannot speak highly enough about Andrews extensions, the whole team are highly skilled, hard working and courteous. Jono is down to earth and honest, with no pushy sales pitch, however, full of good ideas and advice. Our new extension has surpassed our expectations and I would recommend Andrew's extensions to anyone.

We started our project with Andrews extensions in Feb 2024, we did a lot of research into the builder who would be best able to help us with our extension before deciding on Jono. We met about 15 prospective builders and Jono was the standout candidate. The work comprised a two storey side extension, a garden room and a balcony running across the back of the house and significant internal work. Jono and his team were excellent throughout the entire duration of the project. The work was done to a very high standard, on time and on budget. The professionalism of him and his entire team was outstanding. We embarked on a large project to double the size of our property with a two story extension and complete reconfiguration of the existing house. We were thankful to use this experienced building company. We used them for a ground floor extension. They had good communication and also signposted us to various other services required such as planning, architect, decorators, et cetera.

Andrews Extensions were extremely professional to work with. From our first meeting with Jono, we were happy with the quote for our two storey side extension. We were allocated a project manager when the building work started who was approachable to work with and more than willing to accommodate small changes and upgrades as the project proceeded. All the tradesmen arrived on the dates we were told they would and we had no issues with the quality or progress of their work. I would highly recommend Andrews Extensions as they have built us a fabulous two-storey side extension to our house which we are now making full use of.

We used Jono and his team from Andrews Group to complete our 2 storey wrap around extension in Adel. From our first meeting he was pleasant, courteous and keen to deliver our project all the way through to our last meeting.

The build was completed to a very high standard using his tradesmen and was completed on time and budget. He even accommodated some minor additions. The weekly payment structure was effective rather than paying a deposit upfront and also enabled us to keep track of budget and progress easily. He was also competitive on price.

We have received many positive comments on our build from friends and local residents. There were also positive comments about the team and their work ethic whilst on site. We would go back to Andrews for any future work and have seen they are doing more work in our area since our build. Highly recommended.

The Andrews Group completed a wrap around extension for us, completely remodelling the ground floor of our property and adding a fourth bedroom.

Jono and the team were excellent from start to finish. Good communication through the work and any issues that arose were resolved quickly.

Andrews Group were fantastic from start to finish.
It was our first major extension/renovation and we were extremely nervous of falling prey to cowboy builders. We got a couple of recommendations from friends but also saw Andrews Group billboards local to us in Horsforth and thought why not get in touch.

Jono's response time was great and he showed genuine enthusiasm to provide a solution.

Key positives for us:
- Their coordination of trusted 3rd parties from diggers, roofers, electricians, plumbers. While not offering a formal project manager service, it felt that way for much of the build.
- Their weekly invoicing system meant there wasn't a significant upfront commitment and it also meant frequent engagement, both of which were great for us
- The quality of the finish external and internal was first-class. The stonework particularly from Carl was top-notch
- Work ethic and commitment to the build was also refreshing. On site at 8am and put in a full day which again differs from a lot of testimony

All in all a great service and, if we were to do another extension in the future, we'd definitely use them again.
