THIS IS PROFESSIONAL SCAMMING…

THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL SCAMMING ORGANIZATION. DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. THEY ARE ALL FABRICATED.

ANDERSON PUBLISHERS HAVE SCAMMED ME SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS AND HAVE SINCED DISCONNECTED ALL THEIR PHONE NUMBERS.

Here are the facts about Anderson publishers:
They do not have a real address. The address listed on their website is a made-up address. They do not have any presence at that listed location at all. If you want to know, just suggest that you will stop by for a visit!

The phone numbers that they use are all created through Google subscription or magic jack. As soon as they get your money, they can easily disconnect that number and create another. Therefore, when you call back all you get is a busy signal.

I've spoken with 5 people, and they all had Asian accents. However, they all had English names. I do not believe that their names real. They are fictious, or at best pseudonyms. I think their operation is located somewhere in Asia, perhaps India.

They've charged my credit card a VAT tax. This is illegal under California law. However, it is done in parts of Europe and Asia.

Although the number advertised on their website doesn't work, they are still attracting new clients who they can scam. If you go to their website, a chat bok will appear asking you for your name and phone number to start the chat. If you start a conversation they will communicate with you via chat. Then if you ask for a phone number, they will give you a different number from the one that is on the website. If you ask any probing questions or make any statements like wanting to visit their office, they will immediately stop the chat and disconnect.

I HOPE THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT OR US GOVERNMENT WILL SHUTDOWN AND PROSICUTE THIS DIRTY GROUP OF PEOPLE!

This is a terrible company

This is a terrible company. Please do not do business with them, nor trust anything they “promise.” I paid in advance for services not rendered. They have not returned my money although they said they would. About 6 months have passed and now I cannot get in touch with them. I get a busy signal when they are called. They have not followed with emails either. My bank states that Anderson Publishers refused to return the monies owed.

If there were a zero-star option

If there were a zero-star option
If there were a zero-star option, that is what I would give Anderson Publishers.

My experience with this company was extremely disappointing and costly. It involved repeated delays, unauthorized or unapproved changes, poor formatting, pricing mistakes, weak communication, and a lack of accountability when problems were raised.

I hired Anderson Publishers expecting professional support with publishing, formatting, cover design, copyright filing, and promotional materials. Instead, I spent months correcting issues that should not have happened in the first place.

One of my first major concerns was the cover design. I was promised a unique 3D cover, but the final result did not match that expectation. In my experience, it felt much closer to a lightly modified version of a concept image I had shared rather than a truly original design. I was also frustrated by changes that appeared to move forward without the level of clear approval I expected.

The formatting process created additional problems. Errors were introduced into my manuscript, and I had to spend a significant amount of time catching and correcting issues myself. Some formatting choices were not professional and reduced my confidence in the quality of the final product.

I also had serious concerns about the copyright service. I paid approximately $1,200 for copyright-related work, which felt excessive given the actual filing cost. I was also concerned that the copyright filing may have been submitted before the manuscript was fully finalized, because the word count associated with the filing did not appear to match the final length of my book. Despite repeated requests, I did not receive the level of documentation and clarity I was expecting regarding that process.

There were also pricing issues that directly affected me financially. My book was listed at a price I had not expected, which reduced or eliminated royalties I should have received. I also was not properly prepared for how color images would impact printing costs, especially for the hardcover edition. As a result, the final retail price was much higher than I had intended.

I also paid $300 for a one-minute cinematic promotional video, and I was very unhappy with what I received. It included content and visual choices that did not accurately reflect my book. I rejected the video and requested a refund, but that was not resolved to my satisfaction.

On top of all that, the project experienced repeated delays. I was given multiple expected timeframes, and those dates kept moving. That loss of time mattered. It affected not only my release plans, but also time in my personal life that I cannot get back.

What made this experience especially frustrating was the pattern: when problems came up, I often felt like I had to do the heavy lifting to identify, explain, and push for corrections rather than receiving proactive professional support.

To be fair, the company has clear areas where it could improve:
1. Better quality control before files are sent to authors
2. Clear written approval before any design, formatting, or pricing changes are finalized
3. Greater transparency around copyright, ISBN, and promotional service charges
4. More accurate communication about production timelines
5. Better follow-through when refunds, corrections, or proof of services are requested

I am sharing this review based on my own experience as a warning to other authors. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to ask detailed questions in writing, request proof of every paid service, and carefully review every stage before approving anything.

Fantastic illustrator management sucked

The five stars I am giving is for the artist and the great work he did on the cover and book illustrations only. I am revising my review because of the management and team leads. Not only was I passed to three different project managers for a very short book project, but they uploaded a bad file to kdp which resulted in the typeset printing to be off by a page. For a children's illustrationed book this took away from the entire story line. I ended up working with the supervisor to get this fixed but not before it caused a lot of stress.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Anderson…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Anderson Publishers LLC

Anderson Publishers LLC did an amazing job editing and publishing Ex’posed: When the Truth Tells Lies by Alvin Curl. From start to finish, the experience was professional, supportive, and truly encouraging.

I especially want to thank Carol Stevens for her attentiveness, patience, and consistent communication. After going through numerous editors and publishing companies—people who may have been doing their job, but were slowly killing my dream in the process—Carol was the total opposite. She made me feel heard, never rushed, and always respected my vision as an author. That kind of support is rare in this industry, and it meant everything to me.

I would absolutely recommend Anderson Publishers LLC to any new author who understands how challenging and overwhelming this process can be. If you’re looking for a team that takes your work seriously and treats your dream with care, this is the company to trust.
