*** DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER ***

*** DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER ***

I have had a terrible experience with this guy - JON - so rude and combative. His other staff are also unhelpful and condescending but JON really takes the biscuit. I notice that for both of the other reviews he has decided that he needs to argue back. I was struggling enough trying to navigate the course and wanted answers - not to be shouted at and then cut off!

I concur, the portal is clunky and difficult to use. The questions in the assessments are either not covered in the module or the answers are wrong. There are lots of typos and nonsense sentences indicating the content has been cut and pasted.

I'm cutting my losses - hopefully, the bank will refund my money - and going with another provider.

THIS COURSE IS A MASSIVE SCAM - AVOID

Hi Fiona.

I am sorry you felt the need to post an unfair one-star review on here while stating incorrect facts.

As mentioned in the personal email that was sent to you, Jon was sadly on his way to a funeral and due to you calling 3 times in a row, he answered while driving, believing it was an urgent call. Normally, people would call once and leave a message, and a member of the team would call you back at a more appropriate time. Also, as explained, there was possibly a delay in responses due to the call being connected through the car, which made it seem like he was talking over you.

I also explained in the email to you that the answers to the quiz questions are found in the coursework that you covered prior to the quiz and the questions are correct, both as shown by the screen shots that were sent to you.

This course is not a scam and is used for accreditation by both professional and government awarding bodies. Our portal is very easy to navigate if you take the time to read what is required and watch the relevant videos explaining how everything works. It was only this week that one such body highly praised it during an annual EQA assessment.

With regards to your false statement about the course being a scam, this is just simply NOT true. All our courses are accredited to the highest level through VTCT, ITEC and FHT.

You will continue to have access to the course for the remainder of the course duration and I hope that you will take the time to work your way through it to see how thorough the course is.

I am so sorry that we did not meet your expectations, but sadly, you had not read the information given to you within the portal or also in the email communications. Our learning portal is the latest version of Moodle and is updated continually to make sure that it is current and usable. You could not progress within your course as you had not met the learning outcomes required, as explained to you. We very clearly explain in written form and also in video form how the system works.

Avoid, avoid, avoid

There are plenty of online providers like anatomy-and-physiology-online-courses.co.uk, many with very similar names. I chose this one as it looked serious. My experience was terrible however. The website is clunky. The teaching material old fashioned, pdf's to download (as to save trees = we don't want to spend any money on printing a book for you). The best part of the website are external links to videos which can be found on youtube FOR FREE. Anyone considering signing up should read the 'fine print' and note that you get locked out permanently after 60 days of inactivity or after a year of subscription. I had 82% of the coursework complete a months before my year end and asked for an extension without success. Instead I was lectured that the course only takes 94 hours to complete (totally unrealistic) and that I had 8760 hours available in a year to complete it. No concern or interest in personal circumstances which made it difficult to finish the course on time. The operator Jon comes across as arrogant and condescending.

We very clearly explain in all our learner's documentation that learners must log in to the portal every sixty days. You don't get locked out permanently at all; we simply reactivate the account for you. We are also very clear that all online courses must be completed within 12 months. You are correct. We do give you a downloaded PDF file. Most other schools charge you to gain access to the printed manual, which is an additional cost to you, the learner, but we don't do that; we even give access to the audio version of the training manual again for free at no additional cost to you We do everything we can to do to support our learners, we don't always get it 100%, but we do the best we possible can do to support and help our learners. The National Occupational Standard States that the course is 94 hours not us. As the training we offer is fully accredited we have to follow the National Standard. Sometimes, we react to how we are being spoken to at the time by the person on the telephone or in email; at the end of the day, we are all only human.
