Worst customer service I have ever…
Worst customer service I have ever experienced on any airline. Particularly by a lady named Benja Celaba the customer service assistant at Anadolu Jet at Sabiha Gokcen Airport flying from Istanbul to London. She is the worst customer service representative I have ever experienced, was shouting and absolutely horrible. My hand luggage was 1 kg overweight and she charged me 50 euros and even when I offered to wear the overweight item, she was so rude and said if I don’t pay 50 euros then she will not allow me to board the flight. She was awful. Do NOT recommend this airline, scam artists.
Know Your Rights
AJet shows a consistent disregard for passengers’ rights under EU Regulation 261/2004. My flight from Berlin to Sabiha Gökçen was delayed, causing me to miss my connection, yet the airline denied compensation despite a clear legal entitlement. They offered an unreasonable rebooking with an arrival with more than 8 hours of delay instead of providing proper assistance or information about my rights.
Anyone flying with AJet from or to the EU should know that you are protected by EU law — if your flight is delayed more than three hours or cancelled, you may be entitled to up to €400 in compensation. Don’t accept generic rejections or unsubstantiated “extraordinary circumstances” claims. File your claim directly with the airline, and if they refuse, escalate it to the national enforcement body of the EU country where your flight departed, or use verified services like Flightright or AirHelp. Know your rights and insist on them.
Terrible customer service experience with Ajet Airlines (Formerly Anadolujet)
On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, around 03:00 a.m., I experienced a serious issue at the Ajet sales office in Gaziantep Airport in Turkey. Despite making the payment successfully by credit card, Ajet failed to issue my flight ticket.
After contacting Ajet online customer service, I was told there might be a “system update or maintenance” and was directed to resolve the issue at the Ajet sales desk in the airport.
When I explained the situation to the sales staff, I was met with indifference and rudeness. As I tried to defend my rights as a customer, the conversation escalated into a verbal confrontation, eventually requiring the involvement of the police. From the staff’s own statements, it became clear that Ajet had oversold tickets, which explained why my ticket had not been issued, yet tickets for the same flight were still being sold on Ajet’s website at that very moment.
Customers should not bear the cost (in time, stress, or money) of a company’s profit-driven errors. This incident clearly shows that Ajet Airlines lacks an effective solution plan for such problems.
Additionally, the attitude and communication style of the staff demonstrated that they are either not properly trained in customer service, or Ajet as a company tolerates such behavior as part of its internal culture.
I am currently pursuing my legal rights to seek compensation for the financial and emotional damage caused, and I strongly urge Ajet to take disciplinary action and provide proper training for the personnel involved, so that no other passengers experience similar mistreatment in the future.
I kindly request that my financial and emotional losses resulting from being unable to complete my scheduled flight be taken into serious consideration.
Horrible experience with Anadolujet
My recent experience with AJet was completely unacceptable. Before boarding, I was forced to pay for extra baggage, even though my booking clearly included one 8 kg cabin bag and a 4 kg personal item. I only had a backpack and no personal item. When the agent weighed my bag and claimed it was slightly over the limit, I calmly offered to transfer the extra weight into a small second bag I had with me. This would have brought me fully in line with their baggage policy.
Instead of listening or responding reasonably, the agent was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She wouldn’t let me explain and said, “Pay or no fly,” in front of other passengers. I was shocked by her attitude and tone. Even worse, her colleagues quietly admitted that I was right but said she was in charge, and they couldn’t do anything about it.
What happened at that gate wasn’t just poor customer service. It felt like bullying. I was treated with disrespect and forced to pay unfairly despite following the rules. If this is how AJet allows its staff to behave, I will never fly with them again. I strongly advise others to stay away from this airline.
Humiliating and Unprofessional Treatment at Istanbul Airport – AJet Should Be Ashamed
On my recent flight from Istanbul to London with AJet, I had one of the worst airline experiences of my life. During the initial check-in, my carry-on was approved without issue. However, just before boarding, a staff member came to re-check my bag and suddenly claimed I needed to pay extra.
My card wasn’t working at the time, and instead of offering any understanding or assistance, the staff told me I wouldn’t be allowed to board because I “have no money” and I’m “in a foreign country.” It was humiliating, dehumanising, and deeply distressing to be spoken to like that, especially in a vulnerable situation.
One staff member in particular, Rabiya Koyounci, was extremely rude and dismissive. When I tried to call my brother to pay on my behalf, she demanded to see his card and personal details as proof. The lack of basic empathy and professionalism was appalling.
No traveler should be treated this way, especially over a last-minute charge that wasn’t clearly communicated. I will never fly with AJet again and I strongly advise others to think twice before booking.

All my bags were broken by their service, so avoid it.
Terrible Experience with Customer Service and Unfair Treatment
I flew with Anadolu Jet from Kayseri to Istanbul on October 7th, and the experience was awful. Despite my luggage being exactly 20 kilos, their faulty scale at check-in added 7 kilos, charging me extra. A supervisor named Bahar singled me out, making me check my carry-on despite others with more bags passing through easily. Her rude attitude and lack of empathy, especially when I mentioned my recent surgery, were unacceptable. I was forced to run back in pain to check my bag, resulting in injury and extra fees. Extremely disappointed with the inconsistency and unprofessionalism!
It is the worst customer service
It is the worst airline company I have ever seen.Just stay away from this company.
Cancel flights and no one answers customers
I booked the ticket through their website, not any agency or mediator platforms, it was a two-leg flight. The second leg was cancelled, and they passed me to Turkish Airlines, I called Turkish Airlines said we couldn't do anything but go back to Anadolu and I talked with the agent for a few minutes and no clear answer, and then waited 2 hours on the line, clearly a sign to force me to hang up the phone, and no answer.

0 ZERO star is more than enough for them! Terrible, terrible, rubbish airline! Avoid avoid them even if you were in the middle of nowhere, never let them even cross your mind!
Flight cancellation with no update, no excuse no explanation is their routine. They change the flight at least 4 or 5 times during your stay in your destination. I got 6 emails in 3 days from them each with a new flight time!

I bought tickets from Tbilisi to Istanbul under my name and family name but tickets issued for both side under my first 3 letters name and surname and in the contain they didn’t issue boarding card as it was different name and surname and when I went AJet office they informed me that they can’t change it and I lost my flight they said that I have to write to Ajet and they will look after.

my worst experience with AJET
my worst experience with AJET. I was supposed to travel on 06/28/2024. I arrived at the airport about 4 hours before, I was one of the first to be attended to do CHECK-IN with my girlfriend (Spanish). I am Dominican, therefore I need an electronic visa to enter Turkey. Visa that I show to the agent, she checks it and says that everything is fine. I hand her the suitcases and gives me the (BOARDING PASS) and tells us that the flight is about 3 hours late. I went to the waiting room, about 4 hours later, ready to board the plane, the agent realized that my (ELECTRONIC VISA) came into effect on (06/29/2024), preventing me from boarding the plane. If the agent who did the (CHECK-IN) did not make the mistake of not realizing that my (ELECTRONIC VISA) came into effect the next day. I would have had enough time to acquire another electronic visa since it takes about 2 hours to be issued. After that I had to take about 2 hours to get my bags back, I went to the AJET box to make the complaint and the 2 agents were very rude. For this reason I missed my flight, 2 hotel days and more than £500 because I had to pay £397.40 again for 2 more tickets that were supposed to depart on 06/29/2024 at 11.50am. In the early morning of 06/29/2024 I received the email that my flight had been cancelled. After that I spent the entire early morning until 8am calling on the phone to get another flight until I finally got one that was supposed to leave at 3.40pm flight that was also a few hours late. I DESCRIBE MY EXPERIENCE AS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE WITH AJET
Do not use this Airline and don't expect anything from customer serv8ce
Our return flight booking was with AJet on the 3rd of June at 3:15 pm. I attempted to check in online multiple times on the 1st and 2nd of June, but I was unable to do so.
When my family (my wife and two children) and I arrived at Antalya airport around 11:45 am and proceeded to check in, we were informed that our flight was cancelled. We were not notified via message, phone call, or email. We were directed to speak with an AJet agent at the help desk.
I asked for alternative flight options with help desk. Initially, I was told that AJet would provide food, accommodation, and an alternative flight for the next day with a stop in Istanbul. However, after taking a lunch break to make a decision and feed children, we were told around 1:00 pm that they couldn't provide these options.
I pleaded with the staff for either an alternative option or a chance to speak to their manager, but they refused and left us at the airport with my family.
Later, I purchased extra data to book a hotel and another flight. I managed to book the flight and hotel by myself, spending a night there before returning to Germany on the 4th of June.
Impressive levels of incompetence
Impressive levels of incompetence . Changed the flight number 5-6 times, then had possibly the laziest and unfriendly customer service I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with . Flew to their hub and quite frankly it was like they had opened up last week. Would highly recommend avoiding at all costs.
i reached to the wrong gate at 8:30AM…
i reached to the wrong gate at 8:30AM while the gate was changed on my flight back from Istanbul to Amsterdam(the flight departure time was at 8:50AM ). So it was few minutes later when I reached to correct gate and no one helped me to get to the airplane and the attitude of your crew were so rude while I was begging. Then I wait 2 hours at your service department since no one was there to help anyone and after two hours, it took 1 hours to take us back through the passport control gate to entrance area of the SAW airport. Finally, when I asked your ticket department to provide me another free ticket, they said you are late and you have to pay again with 470 euros while i bought my round ticket for 393 euros. There was no support at all and they insist that i was late and it is not their problem. I was not the only one who experienced this on that flight. I am not gonna buy ajet ticket anymore in my life and i will advice everyone to buy a ticket from a supportive company.
This is a very low standard airline…
This is a very low standard airline which under name of Turkish airlines they offer the worst service!!
Absolutely a cheating way to milking the passengers with the cost of Turkish airlines and then offer very small and hard seats, tasteless and nonsense small bites they call it food and delays and terrible customer service. Due to the very low quality stickers for the luggage, my luggage sticker was ripped off and it took several days to follow up and find it with no compensation.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
AVOID - do not use this airline. They changed the flights several times. On one occasion placing the second connecting flight from Istanbul to Dubai by two days prior to the first flight (LOL)! They forced us to change flight dates, then kept changing other flight times. The final day for wife and three kids, including a 6 month old baby, the first flight from DXB was delayed by an hour and a half, leading to missing the connecting flight in SAW. Family was split across the plane, even though we had reserved specific seats. All passengers had to catch a flight several hours later to STN. Arriving much later and horrible flight. Also no food/refreshments served at all on return leg. Was forced to send precious cabin bag in hold, which got damaged. Bags arrived on a different plane due to the missed connecting flight! Horrendous airline, avoid Turkish Airlines and Anadolu Jet.
Never again!!
Never again!!! We had booked Tickets from Copenhagen to Dubai and return with a stopiver in Istanbul. On the way to Dubai we flew Turkish airlines. Fantastic!! Nice plane, very good Food and lots og space for our legs. Return was Anadolujet. Old plane, absolutely No legspace and terrible Food. We had a very dry cheese bun 🤢 on a 4,5 hour flight. If ai had know we would fly anadolujet on the way home, we would never have booked those Tickets. But our Ticket said Turkish Airlines.
