Purchased an Amtech 8X Pocket Magnifier from 7dayshop. It arrived ok but the LED was intermittently working. Tried to change batteries but to no avail. Contacted Amtech customer support and was asked to complete a warranty claim form which was very easy to complete. In no time at all I was contacted by a very nice Customer Support gentleman who informed me that Amtech were shipping a replacement immediately along with a second 3X Magnifier by way of compensation. What wonderful service. The replacement and other item arrived almost next day. Can't fault this kind of Customer Service at all. Well done Amtech customer Service a credit to the Amtech Company!

I had a torx bit set, one of which broke. After sending pics of the broken item and, importantly, a copy of my receipt, a new set was sent. From a customer service perspective I couldn't ask for more....but, from a 'planet' point of view, why not just send the single replacement bit for my broken one in a small envelope (replacement set was sent slightly overpacked with a 'company' leaflet too). The remaining incomplete set could be used to replace if any other broken bits users need - I didn't need a whole new set...

Had an issue with a failed suction cup handle. Type used for glazing etc. I bought 4 and one failed after 18 or so months. Not had excessive use at all.

Within a few days and a couple of emails/photos the claim was settled and a new replacement sent out.

I was looking to replace my old knee pads and was very pleased with the product supplied to me they are water proof strong and very comfortable ideal for laying laminate flooring as they are soft and won't scratch the flooring. I believe In giving credit when credit is due.many thanks Amtec

I bought some telescopic loppers from amtech a couple of years ago and they have been used regularly. Always a pleasure to use and surprised at the power of the cut and the long reach was really useful. Unfortunately a part snapped off the other week. I meant to just buy another pair as I'd had more than my monies worth from them, but on their site realised they were still under warranty. I filled out an online form, they responded the same day asking for a couple of pictures and by the end of that week I had a brand new pair! Customer service like this is a smart move as I'll now look to buy more from this company as their tools are well made and backed by a good warranty. Just bought their digging fork. Thanks.

Amtec provided a replacement tool without quibble or delay.

I would just like to say what excellent customer care I received when I contacted Amtech about my broken strap wrench, which has helped me open many difficult lids over the years. Steve was so kind and helpful with my query and I am very pleased to be able to open difficult lids etc. again with the replacement set which I received earlier in the week.

I spoke to a wonderful chap called Steve who was at pains to assist me with my problem. Fortunately, not a common issue and a replacement item was received the same week. Caring and warmth shown often lacking with some Companies. A credit to his job.

I’d purchased an Amtech ratchet secateur many years ago and when it finally broke I wanted to replace it with exactly the same as I’d been very happy with it. Unfortunately the ratchet action on the new model failed soon after purchase and I used them as normal pruners for months. When I came across the packaging and saw the 3 year guarantee I got in contact with DK Tools and soon had a replacement pair despatched. Great customer service so I’ll definitely use this company again.

I had a small desktop lamp for a Christmas present. I attached the USB to 2 computers and, after 3 to 4 days, decided that either the lamp or the USB was defective.
I contacted the sellers representative who asked questions and asked for a receipt. I obtained this, emailed it, and the representative then emailed to say that he would send a replacement lamp, which was fully charged. The lamp arrived a couple of days and works perfectly.

Had an issue with a PIR outside light not working as described in the literature that came with it. I contacted the supplier by phone, filled in a warranty claim form and received a quick email reply saying a replacement would be sent out. It arrived the next day. Talked through the instructions with Steve and, on his advice, all was cleared up. Fantastic customer service and would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

I messed up setting the combination on the lockable carabiner and steve organised a replacement even though it was my fault.

Excellent customer service - something very hard to come by nowadays!

After my initial disappointment at the failure of my ratchet spanner I was very pleasantly surprised when Steve at DK Tools reminded me that there was a 3 year warranty and that the tool would be replaced with a brand new one. If only more companies operated their customer support in such an efficient way. The replacement arrived within 24hours. Brilliant!
