I had a wonderful experience ordering all manner of containers from Ampulla. My delivery got delayed over 2 bottle tops and customer services really pulled all stops to ensure I got the delivery before I was due to travel with the items I purchased. Arrogant unhelpful customer service
I placed an order and went to pay by card and the screen went blank, going back into my cart the items were still there so I went to pay again and the order went through. I had one confirmation email but two payments from Ampulla, followed by loads of transactions for Betfred on my card statement so after speaking to the bank called up Ampulla. The guy answering the phone couldn’t have been more miserable. Yes they had taken two payments, apparently ‘that happens sometimes’ so I said I was happy to pay for the extra items but I wasn’t happy to pay two lots of express delivery if he could refund that - given that this was an error with their ordering system. He wouldn’t arrange a refund or return because it was on express delivery, and I ‘should have emailed them first thing and they would have sorted it’ (doubtful). After much back and forth he got shouty and said that he would get the courier to send the order back - great I thought. Surprise, surprise another failure as that didn’t happen.
I am only leaving this review though because of the appalling arrogance when I mentioned the fraud, I rarely use this card and the bank confirmed the betfred deposits (18 attempted!) were minutes after using ampulla showing that their payment system was probably hacked - guy on the phone did not care apparently ‘their systems are 100% safe and secure, thank you bye’. I was just letting them know so they could investigate, I was already getting the money back from my bank, but he didn’t even care that their website might be defrauding anyone paying by debit card.
Very glad to be able to avoid this company now as this one guy made me lose all trust in this company.

With regards to Fraud, we use a Stripe Checkout whichis highly secure, using a PCI Service Provider Level 1 certification—the highest security standard in payment processing. It uses encrypted, isolated iframes, ensuring customer card data never touches our server. We use advanced encryption, tokenisation, multi-factor authentication, and robust fraud prevention. We do not hold any of your card details, they are all securely processed by our payment processor. All of your payment data is 100% secure.
From the order number we can see this order was placed on the first of December. As a gesture of goodwill, we have refunded your second order.
We will also raise your feedback with our team as well, to ensure that they are aware of your view point regarding the service that was provided.

I received an apology and a quick delivery of replacement items.
