Absolutely disgraceful service. My partner and I purchased a pair of straighteners from Manchester Arndale popup store for £140 as there was a “deal” that day which was actually just a scam they say to everyone. I tried returning the straighteners after reading reviews the next day and the same woman that served me refused to give me a refund and said it would have to be dealt through email/phone call to customer service. After speaking to customer services they responded to return to the store and receive our refund there. Absolutely appalling service where their own staff refuse to deal with refunds. I found the manager that issued our refund after waiting 10 minutes he was completely rude. We were checking the Apple Pay/ card numbers to make sure that the refund actually was going into my partners bank account and he had a stinking attitude because we were checking and he got into my girlfriends space and raised his voice saying we was calling him a liar when all we was doing was confirming that it was the right account. He had the worst customer service and I’m glad 2 ladies that saw me refund the straighteners also walked off as this whole company is utterly the worst scam. Just to mention we was completely calm the whole time and he still acted like a little boy not getting his way, ridiculous. It was so obvious they didn’t actually like giving refunds. Also I realised that the manager was the same guy that stood and watched his employee tell me to go online to sort my refund out. Which all of this could have been avoided a whole week ago if he would have actually sorted my refund.i

I bought a hair straightener on March 29, 2026, in Bologna, and after only a few days it stopped working.
I opened a warranty claim and was told to wait. I sent a video showing that the straightener would no longer turn on, and then I was instructed to cut the power cord, which I refused to do.
I have now followed up once again requesting a free replacement of the hair straightener under warranty, as this is my legal right.

My hair was done by Claudia in Prague and it looked amazing! They sell very nice products!

Ash was brilliant ! I was out in bluewater and i was stopped by ash to model for the hair products and tools and oh mg god i was soooo impressed and definitely did not leave empty handed :)

The experience was great specially with the sales woman Arezou. Great product, fell in love with both the product and Arezou (not in a romantic way, gotta make it clear😂). She clearly demonstrated how the product works , all the benefits, helped with the payment process, very confident and very helpful. Overall, had a great experience

Had a really good experience at Armory London (St Davids Cardiff). Hirshita was friendly and helpful, and made everything easy without being pushy. Great customer service — would definitely recommend.

Yesterday 19/05/2026 I was approached in lakeside by a very friendly staff member
Who offered to do my hair for free
Unfortunately half way through stopped and urged me to buy the product now several times I asked prices and was being pushed to pay by either klarna or clearpay now I don’t use any of these then was rather pushed to buy the product outright
Now I told them several times it wasn’t in my price range and that I didn’t want to buy but was made to buy
Then the person decided to finish curling my hair then again pushed me to buy a comb and hair brush
I’m not happy with the how pushy the sales person was
I’m spent £209 that I didn’t want to pay and wasn’t left with much choice in the matter
Yes the staff was very friendly at first but then was very pushy with me to buy
Unfortunately they don’t understand the word no and make you feel terrible for not wanting to buy

I bought it and it’s honestly nothing like how they advertise it. After a while, it severely damages your hair, making it weak, brittle, and causing breakage. You eventually end up having to either get a keratin treatment or cut your hair short. I definitely do not recommend it.

I was approached while walking through Cardiff St David’s centre (16/05/26).
I felt pressured into a demonstration when I was simply minding my own business. During the demonstration the saleswoman was very rough with my hair, backcombed it aggressively and ripped the comb through it twice. No heat protection was used despite the website stating it should be.
I take a lot of care of my hair, so this left me upset and uncomfortable. Afterwards my hair felt static, tangled and difficult to run my hands through.

Edit: I’ve also been asked to provide personal details to keep this review live, which I’m uncomfortable doing. My experience still stands and I personally would not return after how I was treated.

Just had a wonderful experience with Ash at bluewater. He was so professional, caring, funny and knowledgeable. My daughter and I left feeling like we'd stepped out of the salon. Thank you Ash, would give 6☆ if possible

Myself and my daughter attended a gluten free show at NEC Birmingham. Your lovely Sofiaa was amazing she did my daughters hair. Explained the product and also tips with styling her hair. She wasn't pushie or your typical sales person. Just genuinely loved the product she was selling and my daughter came away with a lovely soho pink straighteners and beautiful hair styled by Sofiaa.
