I loved this app. And that took it down. No warning about it at all. Just gone. I had friends on there and Original content like oc roleplay characters, fam fiction etc. Bring it back Now!!!

Terrible attitude towards their users. They haven't fixed application errors for many years, they run suspicious ads including casinos. They don't care about security or privacy of user data.

I’ve been using Amino for over 7 years and was banned on May 16, 2025, for a photo that wasn’t explicit in any way (a normal image of actress Odessa A’zion). I’ve sent over 90 emails between May 17–21 and never received a single reply. It’s been over 3 weeks. Loyal users like me get punished without reason, while others post truly inappropriate content and stay active. Horrible support experience.

Regarding recent events, amino has made the foolish choice of collaborating with MediaLab, the same company that created Kik messenger, a notorious app that catered to very awful people. There is no filter or off button for the live videos on the app which are actually inappropriate content. These made even most adults uncomfortable because most of these adults are have standards against the nsfw content on safe sites/apps. Seeing how the higher ups operate, I can tell this isn’t going to end well. Good thing I deleted my account and I suggest you should too.

I despise the "no off-topic" rule on most of the aminos! You guys think that I can only enjoy one topic for the rest of my life?

This forces users to remain in toxic aminos since that amino happens to be about the topics they like,

while other aminos with good users won't let you in cause you don't speak about their topics.

The moderators of all Aminos like to play favorites, they only feature posts/artworks of their sidekicks.

If you dare call them out, they play victum and act as if we are the one's jealous of their fame

No matter how good your post/artwork is, if it's not featured you only get 31 or 33 likes at the most.

Followers mean nothing on this app, I have 2k followers on some random animo and guess what? My number of likes still doesn't 't increase

I don't even get 100 likes from a population of 2k people/followers?!

Plus, nobody even bothers to comment on your posts unless they want to annoy you and start a fight

Only when my post is rarely featured, I get around 200-ish likes from random users and almost none from followers

Lastly, other users love stealing your ideas and claiming it as their own.
