I ordered two backpacks on two separate occasions- about a year apart. One in 2020 and one in 2021. They really had the cutest boho style backpacks so I couldn't resist.

I ordered the small Ellorie backpack and the color was quite different than the picks. I ordered the antique/dark brown and it really took me a while to love it. The leather piece used had major striping in the skin like huge claw marks. It was really off putting and ugly to me at first - I am used to handmade leather goods so its not my first rodeo and I understand imperfections, but for the price I assumed they would make sure the back looked good and that the imperfections didn't make it look like the poor animal had been killed by a lion. After months of conditioning the leather the stripes are much more muted and that's when I fell in love with it. At that point the the leather tassel started falling apart so I had to glue it back together, also the stitching isn't the best. and I have had to repair some seams- the bottom of the bag isn't as tough of leather so it feels like it will just start peeling off one day. The rest of the bag is durable leather.

Backpack #2 was the larger Harper. The interior fabric is much cheaper in this one- also the site stated goat leather but the shipping bag said it was lamb. I hate lamb leather - it is too soft and delicate and I hate its slightly gummy feel. The goat is what sold me since its much more rugged. Also between the time I put the bag in my cart and checked out the price adjusted up from $135 USD to $210! No extra fees just a random insane price increase. It was being bought as a gift for me and the buyer didn't care about the increase- but yikes! I found this bag really odd at first because of the lamb leather. It was really hard to snap closed etc. I pretty much have been beating the heck out of it to make the leather break in and it is just now getting better.

Also I'm pretty sure they forgot my order both times- I waited about 2-3 weeks each order before reaching out for an update. The bags were supposed to ship within 3-4 business days. As soon as I said something each time my bags shipped the next day??
