We had a wonderful experience working with Richard Hettish on our reverse mortgage. From the very beginning he was enthusiastic and yet professional. Richard was very informative on all matters, and took the time to explain everything to us in great detail. His followup calls were always prompt. Our mortgage loan originator, Neal Melton, is responsible for making our reverse mortgage process exceptional. His communication skills, his extreme knowledge of the intricacies of the loan and his patience in explaining the details to my husband and myself could not have been better. He guided us step by step. Our questions were many because we were totally inexperienced in this type of loan. No question of concern was ignored by Neal. a successful conclusion. The only thing that got me a bit stressed was ALL THE DOCS that I was asked to supply. Some of which I had to really search for. My rep, Neal always explained why each document was needed. He was quick to respond to my calls/and emails and was very knowledgeable about the business. I enjoyed working with him.

Richard was there every time I had questions, he explained the process step by step. My husband and I appreciate that he was very personal and professional. By the we finished with everything he had become a friend.

Professional, knowledgeable, respectful, patient and caring. Also extremely communicative. I was always informed along the way. I also know after researching more than 15 companies and selecting American Senior that it was the best choice. Even before I signed to get loan from them they were helpful but not calling too many times like a few companies just to sell the loan. Marco Martinez with Assist from Kaylea Van Vliet were all you would ask for in someone helping you to get a loan so you could stay in your house of many years. They did their job and went way beyond in helping me while I was stressing in a family crises. They showed they are good people who truly care. They were truthful with no surprises. I recommend people to work with them and American Senior. Stress free now because of their good and honest work.

David Hernandez was so wonderful to work with as was his staff. David listened so well to what I was trying to accomplish for my Godmother and to our concerns, He was so willing to address all our questions with patience and professionalism, he was a wealth of knowledge as well. I had contacted two other lenders. They were nice but American Senior’s Loan officer Dave Hernandez was forthright, honest, and explained the process expertly. There was no pressure to proceed and my wife and I were well informed and quite comfortable continuing with American Senior and Dave.
