Stay away from American Ave/SFR3
Do not rent from this company if you can help it.
They are the most predatory company I've ever had to deal with. No matter what you do you will be fighting them for your security deposit back upon move out. Make sure to learn your state tenant laws and rights and be prepared to fight!
Believe all the reviews everywhere online, they are true! There are both facebook groups and discord groups where tenants talk to each other about this company and what they're going through. In 2025 they had a huge email leak where they sent out an email with everyone's contact info visible. Nothing was done or said about it, so tenants are taking it into their own hands now.
SFR3 is their parent company, and are just as bad to deal with. The only way to talk to anyone is email only, and they all hide behind the same support email address, just trying to get you to accept things like false advertising and very poor housing conditions.
