Very slow arrival of earrings. While they are quite nice and look vaguely like the pictures, they are cheap and look like something you might get for a fiver elsewhere. I can't be bothered to return t... See more

Total scam
Total scam. Would give zero if possible. Jewellery absolute tat. They offer a 20% refund and I could keep the jewellery. Refused and managed to send the return; told to add a low value. Stuck with Chinese customs for seven months. Vendor has stopped engaging with me and credit card will not support a dispute. I think I’ve kissed goodbye to my cash. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - SCAMMERS
If I could give less than 1 star
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. An appalling waste of money and rip-off. Earrings are cheap and bear no relation to anything hand-made. I was told to return to China for a refund. I did so at a cost of £15 because they had to be tracked. They simply came back from China some months later and now they are not answering emails at all. AVOID avoid AVOID.
Scam scam as with Langford and Blake
Scam scam as with Langford and Blake. American Express involved. Both not UK based. Returns difficult and expensive and if you do choose to return item not picked up at chinese delivery point. They offer refunds that are nominal as standard. Not registered with Companies House although state UK based. Its a scam.
Wouldn’t even give one star
Wouldn’t even give one star. Whoever is behind this name Amelia & Arthur are scammers to the highest degree. I ordered & paid for two pairs of earrings. They were extremely poor quality to say the least. On one pair the metal was badly corroded. The other pair that on the website looked to be beautifully enameled were actually plastic discs. All in all very cheap & nasty not even cracker quality. I wrote to them several times requesting a full refund & was offered 30% of another order!!! Did not accept this as I no intention of making a further purchase of such dire products. They then gave me an address in China to return them to for a full refund. I paid £10 to send them back that was 29/9/25. I have sent several more emails asking them to contact the customs there as that seems to be as far as my returned parcel has got. They have not replied I have been totally scammed & am £40 out of pocket. Lesson learned. Please take my advice DO NOT purchase from these scammers
Cheap nasty rubbish gave me an instant…
Cheap nasty rubbish gave me an instant reaction
Total scam!!
This company does not deserve any stars!! I ordered a pair of earrings which arrived & looked very different to the pictures online. I emailed them and was offered, in their clearly AI generated text, a 30% discount on my next purchase. I politely refused pointing out that I couldn't trust that any of their other images were accurate. They then said I could have a 15% refund with no need to return the product. This was not a case of me not liking the earrings, what they sent did not match what was advertised.
I contacted Mastercard who were able to get my money returned.
Today they have emailed me again letting me know that, "Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we always strive to make your shopping experience as positive as possible." They have outlined their returns policy again and provided the returns address in China. They have also offered me a 15% refund and a 20% discount code.
It is shocking that such an organisation can continue to trade. I now check everything on Trustpilot before purchasing!!
Scammed
Scammed. Earrings dis not arrive. Chased and chased. Asked for a refund. Heard nothing. Being ignored. Yeah, I have been scammed. Silly me. Lesson learned.
Lovely pics are all a sham cover for rubbish
The advert of a european woman and child, followed by a photo of a shop in London are not what this company is. The glossy pics are not what you get, the jewellery is more what you would find in a cracker. When you ask for a refund you have to send it tracked back to an address that is so bizarre that i doubt it's real. It literally says left hand side of the office, upstairs...... somewhere in China. I was furious with them for conning me, but need to just let it go as I'm never getting a refund that's for sure.
No even worth 1 star
No even worth 1 star. Really wish I’d read these reviews before falling for this absolute con of a business. Earrings were very poor quality, certainly not vintage silver, and so tarnished they were orange in places! Was refused a full refund even though the website clearly says a ‘30 day money back guarantee’. Quoted this to them in 5 emails before they finally gave me a return address in China! Do not get fooled by this fake’family’ business. Did not get my refund, lesson learnt.
Plastic Dress up Tat
I wouldn't even give them 1 star!
Very disappointed with the earrings.
One pair damaged 💔.
Poor quality just plastic. More like children's dressing up items.
No answer when I contacted them on their published contact details
What a rip.off!
Small business
I Sent 4 some torquise earing and I'm delighted wt them I think this company hv far to go
Paid £43 for shoddy earrings clearly…
Paid £43 for shoddy earrings clearly plastic and acrylic and not well put together. Definitely not worth the money I paid.
Refusing refund unless I pay shipping to china….not uk as stated on their advert.
Don’t waste your money.
*Tatty items were not those advertised in the pictures
*The items were not those advertised in the pictures!
*This company are China-based scammers!
*They try and make you pay for return to China if you press for a refund even though the items arrived within days so they obviously have a uk base!
*Give them a very wide berth!
*You can buy cheap tat at cheap prices elsewhere!
*This is tat at super-inflated prices!
*Reported to the BBC You and Yours programme as they are investigating China-based scams such as this!
Not even worth 1 star
Not even worth 1 star. I ordered 2 pair of earings, when received 1 pair was faulty, the other pair was cheap looking, would expect better in Christmas cracker. I emailed they asked for photo of faulty item whi h i supplied. They offered refund of 6% or Icould send them back to China at my cost. I gave up with e-mailing them, didn't send back as I thought I'd be throwing more money away.
This is a total scam cheap
This is a total scam cheap, nasty, very poor quality like jewellery from a Xmas crackers Am in the process of trying to claim a full refund but not hopeful. Please DO NOT BUY anything from this website!
Replacement of faulty jewellery
I ordered a few items of jewellery from this company. They arrived promptly. The items are fine, not top quality but for the price I was happy with the items. Unfortunately one earring was damaged and unwearable. I requested a replacement. At first this did not appear to be forthcoming and on looking at reviews here I was worried I had been scammed as I was only offered money off another order. However after further emails and my insistence on a replacement of faulty goods, as was my consumer right, a second pair was sent out to me. I’m not sure if they were stalling or there was a communication breakdown but on the whole I was satisfied with my experience.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
If I could give zero stars I would. The quality of the jewellery is absolutely appalling. Literally like items you find in a Christmas cracker. How this company is allowed to trade as a family run business is truly shocking. All of my items arrived in plastic bags with made in China on them and were all made of such poor quality. They fight hard to refund you. AVOID
Believe what the majority of other…
Believe what the majority of other reviews say, I wish I had read them before falling for the advert! Extremely poor quality, not as shown in the glossy pictures. Cheap, nasty, broken. Not hypoallergenic. Never again! No point trying to return items either given all that has been said about the pain of that. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don’t buy from here, stick to what you know 😡
I feel so stupid
I feel so stupid. This kept appearing on my FB and I stupidly bought 3 pairs. I should have looked on here first. Horrible poor quality probably made by children in China. Avoid at all costs.
Lovely earrings with good butterflies
I was worried about the lateness of my delivery so sent an email and they responded quickly and helpfully. I love the earrings which arrived the day I sent the email!
