My son has been using Amblyoplay for the past 6 months and he has noticed an improvement in his vision. The short exercises are actually games that are easy to follow. They do take a bit longer than expected to complete but I think doing a little every day results in a significant improvement.

My daughter really likes this game. The individual games are very intuitive and easy to control and concentrate on. She has been using it for more than half a year. We are satisfied. Thank you

It was a great experience so far our journey with amblyoplay. When we stated it for my son I was curious for the result and fron our result's I totally recommend it. It would be even better for our little guys if there was variety to the exercises. The truth is lately my son was a little bored to complete the exercises but on the other hand collecting diamonds and gaining new characters kept his interest alive. Thank you Amblyo team! We will definitely do it again later

We used Amblyoplay as part of our daughter’s vision therapy, and the results have been meaningful.
At the start, her vision measurements were around 6.25 in one eye and 7.5 in the other. After about six months of consistent use, combined with guidance from our optometrist, her vision improved to approximately 4.25 and 6.5. That’s not a small change—it’s noticeable in day-to-day activities like reading, focus, and general visual comfort.
The platform itself is straightforward. The exercises are game-based, which helped keep her engaged—especially early on. However, over a long stretch of daily use (in our case, about six months), the game variation can start to feel limited. Some of the activities become repetitive, and there were definitely times we had to encourage her to stay consistent because the novelty wore off.
That said, consistency is what drives results. The improvement didn’t come from occasional use—we treated it like a routine, even when motivation dipped.
One important point: Amblyoplay wasn’t a standalone solution for us. It was part of a broader plan that included professional oversight and adjustments (like updated prescription lenses and stopping patching when advised). Used that way, it worked well as a complement to traditional care.
Bottom line: If you’re willing to stay consistent and push through some repetition, Amblyoplay can deliver real, measurable improvement. It’s not instant, and it’s not endlessly engaging—but it works.

Amblyoplay was recommended to us by our optometrist. My 10 year old son had been experiencing difficulties reading for a few years, therefore his eyes were tested. He was found to have several problems, including exoforia. After a three month periode of doing the Amblyoplay exercises he has improved his vision incredibly. Some measurements of skills went from a very low score (for example 5 or 17 on a 1-100 scale) to almost maximum (93). This included for example near-far quickness and depth sensitivity. We are very greatful to the Amblyoplay team for developing this training. There is now nothing in the way for my son to improve his reading and academic skills.

My daughter has been using AmblyoPlay for three full months now. I really like the app's design—it's clear, well-organized, and playful (especially for children). To help with the daily routine, there’s a reward system where you can upgrade a character. The games are simple, but we believe that with the special glasses, they serve their therapeutic purpose. Her next check-up is in two months, and until then, she will definitely continue using the app 100%. The only downside I see is the limited variety of games, which can be repetitive. Otherwise, the company has great support; I’ve always received a quick response. It’s not a small investment, but when it comes to the health and eyes of your loved ones, I didn't hesitate for long.

We've been using AmblyoPlay training with our 4-year-old daughter for three months. The games are engaging and well-thought-out in terms of eye training, and they're easy to learn for a child who hasn't played video games before. Some of the games are still too challenging, but that's not a problem, as they can be disabled. The system for unlocking new characters and new outfits is motivating for the child. The only drawback is the limited number of games, as if some were disabled, the rest often become repetitive, and my daughter sometimes gets bored with them. Overall, we recommend them.

Our daughter was diagnosed with 'lazy eye' at age two. After seeing multiple specialists, we found a path that works. After two years of progress with vision therapy, our doctor suggested adding the AmblyoPlay app to our daily schedule—a tool they use and trust at the clinic.
We are awaiting our next appointment to evaluate the results of the first six months. We recommend AmblyoPlay to anyone in a similar situation and are hopeful for further improvements in her eyesight.

My daughter is age 12 and amyblopia was picked up very late. Amyblopia and +5 prescription in one eye, other eye is fine.
She's been doing it for a month or so now, and in her bad eye, her sight has gone from 20/200 to 20/50 to 20/35 according to the amyblopia sigh tests...so we are in shock to be honest. I can't wait to see what the optometrist says at her next appointment and if those figures are actually true!
What I would say is she hates it :( she says it's the most boring thing ever and is annoyed it lasts a bit longer than 15 minutes (made me time it). She does 15 mins morning and 15 mins evening. She says it's now too easy (although I watch her and can tell her brain/eye is definitely still struggling at times i.e the Tetris game). We will keep going because of the progress and we will update on here when she has her proper eye appointment.

I am a 30 year old who has had amblyopia/strabismus since childhood. I have had 5 surgeries to correct my lazy eye. The last one was successful for about 15 years but I have recently noticed my eye is starting to deviate again. I was skeptical to try amblyoplay due to being told my whole life that nothing other than surgery can improve my lazy eye.
Overall, I am having a positive experience with ambloplay. I have only been doing it for about 3 months now - I don’t think there has been improvement with my vision or strabismus in my suppressed eye but I do think my depth perception has improved.
I deducted a star because after a while, the games get a bit boring. They are mainly for kids (which I don’t mind) but after playing them daily for months it does feel redundant. I also had some trouble with the color settings, when my suppressed eye goes out of focus the image turns from purple to yellow. I couldn’t find anything online if that was normal vs an issue. I did follow all the color calibrating instructions. The software is also a bit expensive.
I would recommend this to others and have overall had a positive experience with amblyoplay.

My twelve-year-old daughter has been followed by an ophthalmologist and an orthoptist since she was just 10 months old, due to esotropia, farsightedness, and amblyopia.
For many years she used an eye patch to occlude the dominant eye, and she wore glasses with bifocal lenses. But at every check-up, her Lang test came back negative (meaning she had no stereopsis). I was told that even though she had regained vision in her lazy eye (she now sees 20/25 with her lenses), she would never develop binocular vision.
Three months ago, while searching online on my own, I came across this website and decided to give it a try. My daughter now does 30 minutes of exercises every day. At first they were only monocular (with a patch), but after a month she started the binocular ones as well.
Each week, her visual acuity is checked (it was initially 20/63 in the lazy eye, and after three months it has improved to 20/32) along with her depth perception (which started at 0 and is now at a score of 180).
I talked about it during our last appointment, and the ophthalmologist encouraged us to continue using these exercises. I truly feel like recommending them, because even at her age (12 years old), my daughter is experiencing real benefits.

I am very happy because the vision of my little girl has improved since we started to use AmblyoPlay, and this is very important because she is almost 6 years old. After this age , improving vision is more difficult.
The only problem we had is with the glasses that are too big for a little girl.
Thank you!

Impressed with the effectiveness and also the attentive customer care. We have been using AmblyoPlay a few months now, and my daughter's vision has improved. She is describing being able to see things more clearly than in the past in her day to day life. She has been getting 20/20 vision in her recent tests and although we still have more work to do, her eyes without glasses since we began are not regressing back to the Lazy Eye of beforehand. It is a little expensive, but to do the same exercises holding a pencil etc would be time consuming for me. Her eyes are improving whereas the optometrist we last spoke to said they couldn't be sure if her eyes would get worse or better in future, which wasn't very inspiring. Thanks AmblyoPlay

My son has been using AmblyoPlay for only about 3 months to improve his lazy eye which it seems it has improved.
Games are fun and child friendly.
However, out of 12 games available to him, he’s only able to play and complete 5 - he is 4 years old. Also, I know 4 minutes per game x 3 is not long but it’s very long for 4-year old as their concentration spam is quite short. I’d like to see shorter and more age relevant games for younger kids.

A heartfelt thank you to the Amblyoplay team fir an excellent program and carefully designed exercises that help children with a lazy eye maintain and strengthen their vision in a fun and motivating way.
My son regularly does the exercises in the program, which helps him keep the vision in his lazy eye at a level where he doesn’t need glasses.
Thank you for contributing to better vision and greater confidence in our children through your work.

I am very happy with the AMBLYOPLAY program. The exercises are smart, progressive difficulty is tailored to user need & progress, and the incremental challenge with progress is just right. The team is always very helpful as well, and newsletters & articles keep info and motivation going. I am 70+ years old with lazy eye since childhood and have followed the program every single day for the past 2 years & 1/2. I am totally amazed how much my gaze has improved; I'm continuing everyday training. Not always easy to schedule etc., but it’s very much worth it! Thanks!

My daughter is using Amblyoplay therapy for six months. Her problem is astigmatizmus. At the beginning her glasses were 4,5 and after 6 months of daily trainings her glasses are just the same. No progress for her. I am really considering if I should pay for another 6 months, if it makes sence....
