This was a gift. Ambiano 6 in 1 belt fan.
Turned it on and smoke whispered out of it. The unit became warm and the odor of burned solder, plastic and copper wire emanated from it. The fan never came on. Light works, but it sits, now, outside at the end of the driveway so it doesn't become a solar flare in my house while everyone sleeps.
What makes this worse is my daughter works hard and doesn't have a lot of extra money.
