After completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), Mike started his professional career in heavy machinery manufacturing - where he rapidly progressed to become Vice President of Engineering for a global firm. Everything changed when his first daughter was born and the travel required of a global executive no longer aligned with his priorities - being around for life’s most important moments. Having worked in residential and commercial construction during his time as a student at GA Tech, Mike decided to strike out on his own as an entrepreneur in 1999. Since that time, Mike and his team have built over 150 new homes, developed multiple neighborhoods, and led countless design + build + remodel projects for residential and commercial clients in the Atlanta area.
