Took 3 days to deliver in to alzabox
Ordered something on the 19th at 4pm, only arrived on the 22nd morning. False advertisement claims if you order something by midnight, you’ll have it delivered in the Alza box in the morning. It was an order in Budapest, so wondering how long people have to wait outside of the capital. Not going to use them again.
Misery, stay far away from Alza
I ordered a vacuumcleaner and a package cleaning bags.
DPD offered me a small package of cleaning bags.
Price 20640.-- huf.
The vacuumcleaner was not there!
I refused and the mess was returned to Alza.
It seems that I'm not the only one with bad experiences and warn everybody stay away there
Ordered-recieved-returned-refunded in less then a week time!
I ordered a Logitech Spotlight because the reciever of my Spotlight was lost and I needed it urgently for a presentation (my coorker got sick and I had to relief her out of the blue). I ordered it at 23.00 on Monday (when I got the news and realized that my spotlight is not functional). It was delivered into the Alza-box by 7.30 on Tuesday (the lecture started at 8.15, so I just got it on time). I used it for that one lecture then I found my original reciever.
I sent it back to ALZA through the BOX on Thursday (very easy process). I got the refund Sunday afternoon.
It was super easy, super convinient and lighting fast. Thank you ALZA!
Full price, used product
I ordered a NEW media player from Alza a few weeks ago, and they sent a USED one. The product costed in full price, but it was in broken box, the items in the box were fingerprinted and used. The product was probably a returned item by someone to Alza, but they sell as a brand new in FULL PRICE.
Don't recommended, avoid ordering on ALZA.
Avoid!
Very disappointing experience.
We placed an order for electrical equipment and after 10 days we still don’t have it. The staff constantly delayed the process, giving us false and misleading answers in the chat. Completely untrustworthy service – we cannot rely on them at all. We are cancelling the order as we are going back abroad. Waste of time.
Extremely disappointing delivery experience – refused without entering the apartment
I ordered a dryer from Alza.cz with paid delivery and installation service. The item was supposed to be placed on the upper floor of our duplex apartment (4th floor). However, the delivery team refused to complete the installation, claiming the stairs were unsafe — without even entering the apartment or checking the staircase.
I have previously ordered a washing machine under the same conditions and it was delivered and installed with no problem. This time, the team simply walked away and the order was cancelled. When I requested a second attempt, they refused.
This inconsistency and lack of proper evaluation is unacceptable. I expected professional service, especially when paying extra. Very disappointed.
ordered endlessly delayed
ordered endlessly delayed, no help from customer service, no refunds. total scam
Impossible to order
I recently attempted to order some expensive WiFi routers from Alsa. I have an account with them and have successfully made purchases there in the past. However, when I tried to confirm my order this time, I was prompted to verify my purchase via an SMS code.
The problem? I never received the verification SMS. I double-checked my phone number—it’s correct. I even clicked “resend code” multiple times, but nothing came through. In the past, I’ve received SMS messages from Alsa without any issues, so this was both surprising and frustrating.
In the end, I gave up and purchased the routers elsewhere. Alsa’s SMS verification failure has cost them my business. This is a poor strategy on their part.
Be aware
Returned a very bad quality TV in two days. They write you have 30 days. Got a message that they received the return. Two hours later got a message that the return was rejected because "you must return the product in its original condition, disassembled, in its original packaging (if possible) and in the same condition and value as you received it". No more information. My return matched EXACTLY ALL of their criteria.
Alza.hu doesn’t refund your money
Alza.hu is the worst company with the worst support team. I payed for a car seat on their web-site and it turned out that this item was out of stock. They wrote me and asked where to send the refund of my order. I gave them my bank number. And guess what? After more than a week of waiting I didn’t receive my money back! Every attempt of conversation with Alza.hu ends up in vague answers that they cannot do anything and I have to wait. Wait for what? For them to check where my money is? To track if there is a problem on their bank side? Seems like an easy task, but not for Alza.hu support team. They prefer to absolve themselves of responsibility. I asked several times to change the refund method but continue to get vague answers about waiting. So now I can clearly state that Alza.hu is stealing money. Don’t do any purchases there if you want to lose your money.
Oh, and I forget to mention that they said refund was sent 18th November, but actually it was sent 22nd November. What did Alza.hu do all these 4 working days? I doubt they would have sent my refund at all if I hadn't kept reaching to them with questions.
Not a reliable shop
They would promise to deliver your order tomorrow morning. Then the next day it just changes to tomorrow morning again. No excuses or apologies.
Misleading information
Last Saturday, my wife ordered an item from Alza, and it was delivered to an Alza box the next morning (Sunday). Yesterday (Saturday), I decided to buy a camera and was informed that if I paid before midnight, the item would be delivered to an Alza box by 8 AM the next day. However, when I received my invoice, it stated that delivery would be on Tuesday, September 9th. This is a product worth 1500 euros, and I don’t live in Hungary—I’m leaving tonight.
I called customer service, and they informed me that the item wasn’t in stock. Now, my only option is to cancel and wait five days for a refund, leaving me 1500 euros out of pocket and without the product I ordered. Had I known this in advance, I would have simply gone to 220volt and purchased the camera directly. In fact, that’s exactly what I’m going to do now—buy from 220volt instead of Alza.
I’ll never shop at Alza again. Their website is misleading, and this experience has been incredibly frustrating.
Fast and impressive development
I had a lot of problems with them earlier, but lately the service is perfect. There are a lot of alzaboxes around the country, so I can order even the cheapest items for free and I can also pay when I pick up the packages. They even deliver on weekends, and if you order something before midnight, you can pick it up the next morning. The latter service is truly one of a kind.
If there was a problem, or if I wanted to return an item, the process was straightforward and the customer service was great. I could easily return an unwanted item through their alzabox and when an item arrived damaged, I got my money back without questions asked and I also got to keep the item.
Emag and the other competitors could learn from them a lot.
idk why the reviews are low
idk why the reviews are low. Best variety in the country, and the refunds worked fine with my small buys
Promising tomorrow-delivery, failing to do that
They promise a tomorrow-delivery if you purchase until the end of the day. Well it is a scam. They did not fullfill their promise and managed to mess my order up. I do not recommend ordering from them if you want it quick because they just saying things so you will buy from them.
I purchased an external SSD on the 3rd…
I purchased an external SSD on the 3rd May, when I made the order I saw the product will be delivered on the 7th or 8th. After I completed and paid , the confirmation email changed the expected delivery date to 16th May due to lack of stock. Not to mention they made me very confused as I noticed the OUTSTANDING AMOUNT row at the bottom. (I payed already!) Asked the customer service what is going on and they said probably someone else just purchased the same product in the same time I did so there were no more available SSDs in stock.... I rather cancelled the order then I got another confirmation of the cancellation saying nothing about transferring my money back so I had to send another email... what a hassle...
Horrible customer service and you can't trust the item you order
I bought a "new" product and it arrived missing a part. I made a complaint days ago and I still haven't heard anything back. When I contacted them, they told me that a colleague was already looking into it and to "be patient". I wrote two sentences in my complaint and attached two images. What is it taking this long for that colleague to check?
I ordered the item because I needed it. Now it's just sitting in the corner until they are sitting on my complaint.
Horrible customer service and you can't trust the item you order.
Use Amazon Deutschland: more expensive but at least you get the item
I ordered a product for rapid delivery. And then every day for a week I received an email apologizing for a delay and saying it would be delivered the next day. It wasn’t. I then raised it with customer service who promised it would be delivered the next day. It wasn’t. I still don’t have the item and customer service have decided not to reply further.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. I ordered a product from them that guaranteed next day delivery, they kept delaying delivery over and over until I was forced to call and they admitted they 'lost the package' and they don't have anymore left, of course.
They lie about having products in stock, lie about the prices, lie about guaranteeing quick delivery, lie about cancellations and refunds. Don't trust their lies.
