I bought tickets to a show. They sent me an email to say the show was cancelled. But I only got a refund for the face value of the tickets, not the £3 per ticket "booking fee" nor the extra "e-ticket fee" (I pay for the privilege of printing it out myself at home?). I didn't choose to cancel the gig, why am I paying for it?

Apparently lost the booking dispute it being paid for, confirmed by email and allocated seat numbers.

Don’t get back to you, no recourse, dreadful customer service.

I was in the queue with another ticket provider for Lewis capaldi tickets and they sold out within seconds. Devastated as my daughters were desperate to go. After a little google this website came up and they had tickets available. I did a quick search and saw a few negative reviews but thought I’d risk it……I placed the order and within seconds the tickets were in my email.

Still feeling a little nervous I tweeted alt tickets to try and put my mind at ease, and within minutes they’d replied to my tweet and reassured me.

My daughters attended the concert last night with no issues at all they produced the downloaded tickets on their phone and they were in!!!

I’m so impressed with the service and customer service I received! This site will be my first port of call for any future tickets.

If you are feeling nervous as they aren’t ‘the popular’ site - please don’t. Go for it they’re legit tickets priced at face value and deliver fast to your email!!! Thank you alt tickets

I have had the most amazing experience with Alt, and i cannot wait to get my tickets with them in the future.

Love their aggressive business model that puts the customer firmly in last place.

Cost of tickets - very mean £3.25 per ticket 'booking fee'. Plus the £1.50 to print the tickets off at home.

Cancelled gig - no way to get a refund without individual privately emailing. You're just moved to the next appropriate gig date or asked to choose another venue (unsure how, as customer dashboard doesn't allow this).

Refund of tickets - if you really do need to get a refund on your tickets after a cancelled gig that wasn't your fault and not just let them keep your money, you don't get back the booking fee cost of £3.25 per ticket!

Bunch of scammers
They keep hold of fees when they reschedule events - this has happened multiple times. I bet this is of scheme for them to make more money.
If people can’t make the change of dates- they should be entitled to a full refund. Clearly morals don’t mean much to alt tickets

They have the cheek to charge you £1.50 charge to print your own ticket at home with your own paper and ink !!!!!!!!!!!

I bought tickets back in 2019 for a gig that was cancelled due to COVID. I contacted Altickets recently and was speedily promised a refund. There were some issues with my bank - at which point I assumed Altickets were at fault due to reviews on here - but the refund was processed as promised (minus booking fees as explained to me). Thanks to Louis JT for all your help.

Shocking customer service - waited on a refund which I didn’t get was repeatedly fobbed off - after days of emails they said they have refunded the money but they said that in April. They also don’t refund booking fees or protection so I lost £15 - and the response I got was that this paid for the well oiled cog! Laughable!

Shocking, never use them again, bought tkts for drop kick murphys, you want a refund you apply in writing with original tkt (no good when you haven't been given it), I had no choice of tkt agencies when originally bought

I ordered tickets for a gig which was subsequently cancelled. I contacted them by email requesting a refund which they did issue straight away. However, beware that any additional fees do not get refunded, just the value of the tickets. Definitely not a 5 star service!

Sorry to say that we won't be using these clowns ever again. Avoid at all costs.

I was advised to stay at home (and miss the hives gig) by the nhs due to covid symptoms so couldn't go. Didn't get a refund even though I had ticket protection and showed nhs app screenshots. I took responsibility in missing the gig. This company obviously couldn't care less.

Trying to receive a refund that I was informed by email that they were sending. I gave my new bank details but to date 2 weeks later they have not returned my money. Several emails with poor response
If they read this then I ask they please return my £70

terrible! They keep booking fees even though they cancelled! Rubbish customer service as well. Will NEVER book again with them. Avoid

Lionel Ritchie entire European tour cancelled (still performing in Vegas) tickets are being refunded but not the booking fee which for me any my friends amounts to almost £40, REALLY!! Contacted but got fobbed off, daylight robbery, so who got our money and all the other punters nice scam. Hope it went to charity.

They cancelled a gig and only refunded me the face value of the tickets. I'd paid for ticket protection and a booking fee. Will never book with them again. Total scam

Choose where you buy your tickets for show from.
Untrust these people immediatly because they will steal No amount of money from you.
They chose to keep nearly £10 from me after cancelling Show.
I know you may be thinking that hey £10 isnt much, I guess to some people it isnt, but think of all the money these scammers are keeping. Avoid like the plague.

With the increase of the Omicron strain of COVID-19, I was too anxious to go to The Human League gig in Bath. I emailed Alt Tickets and they refunded the face value of my tickets without any hesitation. Great service. Thank you.
