This company is doing a great job in helping to provide the medication where it is needed.
100% positive experience, good communication and no nonsense approach to what should be mainstream
acceptance and legality of substance.
The staff I have communicated with have been clear and helpful and friendly.

It took 2 months to get me going.
I was left for a month, they was needing more info. I have busy life, a lot of stress. Barely a minute. I don't see emails.
If someone is paying for a service. But more is needed, it would be courteous to call the customer, catch up and let them know. Rather than leave them stressing
On the second doctor's appointment for my prescription. The doctor was 25 minutes late for appointment. Leaving me late for work. Sweating in a 34° van.. no ac. So I was understandably p****d when he came on to call. But didn't show once on video. Making it uncomfortable for myself. As I like to see who I'm telling straight for taking the Mick. The appointment was rushed. I wanted more... That's out the window
Then finally the delivery. I rushed as was last minute getting my activation on Friday... That was a pain. Then when I finally put my order through. I put my billing and shipping address the wrong way around being stressed, hot AF and rushing to get order in. Once placed and paid, I noticed. Tried to contact STRAIGHT away.. to be told they could not help in any way. Meaning my med would be sent where I wouldn't be, could possibly get stolen (made clear). Luckily, they do Sunday delivery. Which was also not made clear to me.. so I got my meds Sunday..
That wasn't before royal mail trying to deliver 2 doors down (luckily no answer or he would have handed it to them), me having to drive to depot. Find my way into closed royal mail facility (I don't take no for an answer so easily) have them call the driver to come back and redeliver. Luckily I turned up as he did.. he was going to try the same door again
So after finally losing the last of the fn hair on my head. I get to sit down, looking like homer fn Simpson... With my meds
The 'flavours' are over hyped and over priced. The scout cookies and diamond mints are 8/10.
All in all. It gave me a migraine...

All staff seem to be really helpful from the 5 or so I’ve spoke to through video call and live chat! Never had a problem that wasn’t resolved the same day, as far as appointments are concerned. I have only just been accepted so can only comment on the admin/customer service so far! I will leave another review or edit this one when I have received my delivery! Very pleased so far!

Delays and long winded postal prescription service is too slow

All information in this review is publicly available or archived. I am a protected whistleblower under PIDA 1998.
Alternaleaf and Montu are the same company – Montu Group UK Ltd trades under the Alternaleaf brand. They recently abused Trustpilot's flagging system to try to silence a protected whistleblower, flagging a factual review as "harmful or illegal". Trustpilot reviewed it and reinstated it. They failed.
THE CQC WARNING NOTICE
On 10 September 2025, the Care Quality Commission issued a formal warning notice to Montu Group UK Ltd for failing to comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 in relation to safe care and treatment. Inspectors found that patients were encouraged to select cannabis-based products with no clinical guidance. Staff said workloads were "unmanageable or unsafe". Some staff felt the organisation was more "commercially focused" than patient-centred.
THE AUSTRALIAN PROSECUTION
The Therapeutic Goods Administration is suing Montu Group, Alternaleaf, and director Christopher Strauch in the Federal Court of Australia (VID298/2024) for 226 alleged offences of unlawful advertising of prescription-only medicinal cannabis. Montu is accused of deleting crucial documents from Slack and Miro during the discovery phase of the case.
THE PRESCRIPTION FACTORY
One doctor wrote 72,000 prescriptions in two years – 156 scripts a day. Eight doctors issued 245,109 scripts in two years. That's not healthcare. That's a factory.
THE SILENCING ATTEMPT
They flagged my review to hide the truth. It was reinstated because every single word is factual and verifiable. That's not a mistake. That's a pattern of harassment against a protected whistleblower.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Alternaleaf blocked me from ordering my medication, refused to take a bank transfer, and spammed me with marketing emails. They are withholding my prescribed medication while continuing to market to me.
Do not trust Alternaleaf. They are not who they say they are. Also tacit admission you can't argue with me on facts so you abuse the reporting system Scots law Reid v Ross that's a tacit admission
Everyone was very nice and got back to me promptly, I'm still waiting on my account activation link but otherwise I think everything was perfect! :)

3 weeks the whole process took from joining to recieving my "medication". 2 video calls with doctors who instantly put me at ease. I grabbed a paper copy of my doctor's summary of care and uploaded the photos to speed up the process. (Just ask for it from doctors reception and they will print it there and then) The service was easy to use. Staff communication was excellent with very clear and helpful emails. The product itself is excellent and arrived safely and quickly. I have gotten more work done since receiving my product and a proper night's sleep which is also helping my motivation. Wish I had joined years ago. Would highly recommend.

I had been thinking about a medical cannabis prescription for some time to help with my PSTD and ADHD. The whole process with Alternaleaf was very easy and straightforward and I had received my prescription in just over a week from my first consultation. The cost currently Just £5 Per month covering all appointments and prescriptions plus good value price on the plant based medicine 💊 👍
