I really could do with someone at ALPHERA Financial Services UK to help me out. Long story so will keep it as short as poss.
I have a Jaguar IPace which at the end of the current agreement was due to be picked up on Friday 12th December.
One of the battery cells became faulty (common fault) on the final battery charge on the 10th so I rang Alphera and they said they couldn't collect it due to the fault, even though it is a manufacturers warranty fault. I was to get it fixed and then call them back to get it collected.
I checked with my main dealer and they pulled it out of the bag saying they could get it in on Monday 15th to fix, I booked it in and advised Alphera of this, with them telling me I should escape any late charges as long as it was sorted within a week. I thanked them and asked for it to be booked back in with one of the slots available before Christmas as I knew I’d get the car back by today at the latest. Was told this was not possible.
Got the car back today (17th December) and called them. Transferred to the person at BCA LOGISTICS LIMITED to be advised that there are now no dates before December 30th (which I cannot do as I will be out of the country then) and they would now be charging me a daily rate until they can pick the car up. I offered to drive it to any location of their choice (lots of BCA locations all around the country) of which they refused.
Spoke to their escalation team who after going back and forth came back to say there was nothing he could do and apologised for this along with how poor the logistics team are.........I have asked for this phone recording as not often someone accepts that the service isn't up to what it should be!!
I asked to be put through to somone in customer support. He tried to transfer me and he then said they refused to take my call as there was nothing they could do. I demanded to now put me through to the customer support, so he did........only problem is he put me through to Alphabet customer support!!!
I think this is very poor service. I get that its that time of year but to have no solution other than to charge me a daily rate indefinitely until they can come and collect the car does seem a bit rubbish.
Update. Spoken to various departments this morning 18/12/25 with every one of them saying they were the wrong department and then passing me on to another department whilst playing soothing music……to then get cut off. Call back and then repeat. Admittedly, on one of the occasions I got cut off is when I lost my temper due to the incompetence!
Finally got through to someone called Phil who actually helped! Only option is to book it in for January 5th now so I will be charged nearly a month extra of payments due to Alphera not trying in any way to come up with a sensible solution.

Shawn Douglas was extremely helpful. I had come to the end of my 4 year PCP plan and at crossroads on what to do. I was unsure of taking out a new pcp plan, buy it on HP or return the car. I also liked the car, although a little old (7 years) it runs well and reliable. Shawn provided me with all the necessary information I needed and i was the m well informed to make a the right decision for myself.

My car was due to be collected today, after I paid an additional £150 to end my finance agreement 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. Had numerous texts and emails from the car collection company (bca) to confirm collection, taken a day off work unpaid to sit in the house between 8am-4pm. No collection was made. I rang Alphera at 4.10pm to ask why there has been no collection to be told that as there’s an outstanding emissions recall on the car Alphera deem my car unsafe to drive and they will NOT be collecting the car.
The customer service I received on the phone was non existent, considering this is the first Alphera have made me aware of the recall. Why wasn’t I told 3 weeks ago when I organised the collection and paid £150 extra that the car needed to be recalled before collection? Shocking customer service from Alphera!

Well just about everything was great with my experience band the only thing I've had a problem with is I'd like to change my 308 for another vehicle if I can find one I like but I can't seem to get any pointers towards getting on your site to look at your stocks.

Bought the car through Cinch, which was financed through Alphera.
I was slightly worried about returning the car after terminating the contract after 50% of payments, but the hand back was smooth and no extra charges for any damage. The team on the phone were helpful regarding private plate transfers.
I suppose I got lucky!

I've used this company for several years for managing car hire purchase agreements for personal and business purposes. For the latter, like everyone else who has a busy working life, to be able to settle the car agreement is almost impossible because office hours limit the ability to make payments. They also don't make customers make online payments, so you need to call at an inconvenient time, and my lasting experience was 15 minutes just to get through customer support to make the final payment. Painful!
Why not offer customers the ability to pay online?

We Handed back our car over 7yrs ago, before we could hand it back we were told we had to pay the final payments or they would not be able to take the car back ?
I asked is that it, we don’t have any more payments to pay ?
they said NO !
now every 6mths we get a letter from alphera saying we owe over £855
Where did that come from ???
My husband is suffering from cancer and heart problems, which of course is very stressful in itself,
surely any outstanding payment should come from the sale of the car. My husband tried to talk to them but they wanted bank and password details going back 7yrs ???

We’ve been trapped in a nightmare with Alphera for months. Our car stopped working earlier this year, yet Alphera has continued taking payments while refusing to deal with our complaint or even clarify our right to end the agreement.
My husband has given authority three separate times for me to speak to them, and each time they’ve promised it was sorted—only for the next person to claim there’s no record. Our formal complaint was sent over six weeks ago and hasn’t received a single response. Every call ends with someone passing the blame or “referring it to another team.”
They have been Ignoring correspondence, contradicting their own statements, and blocking us from exercising our legal rights under the Consumer Credit Act.
This company shows zero regard for customers or the law. If you’re considering finance through Alphera, think very carefully. Once something goes wrong, they will not help you.
Edit: their response is regarding an earlier email correspondence. They have ignored me since September ‘25 when I tried to voluntarily terminate my contract

This company is appalling after 10 months of them not taking my complaint. Seriously I have now had a partial reimbursement due to them and cinch miss selling a car to me over three years ago they would not take responsibility and kept saying the car was fit for purpose the financial ombudsman was brought in and told them very clearly that they were in the wrong. They will keep you hanging for as long as possible so you give up don’t do this and if you expect an email back from them, don’t bother. They’ll contact you when they feel that they want to and getting through on the phone. Make yourself a cup of tea and get ready for a long wait.

Alphera finance I’m so disappointed I spoke to them after the last review they said give them a week.
I contacted them on Wednesday and they denied speaking to me and asking for my details in the previous review.
I don’t take kindly to being fobbed off.
Now the garage we returned the faulty car too want to charge £25 a day plus vat even thou they lied in the previous reply saying we’d picked the car up not true….

The dealership had the car returned to them before the 1st of September and had the dekra done on the 18th. When I took the vehicle to an independent garage to be inspected they noted that the tpms would be due to it being damaged thus causing the mechanical issue on the car. The car needs to be free of all minor and major faults within the first 30 days of sale.
