Almec Products officially started trading in 2017. We are a sister company to Almec Fencing, which has been a family run business for over 30 years now. Almec Fencing has 30 Years of experience in the Fencing Industry and for a few years has been supplying tools to our trade customers and public alike. Almec Fencing/Products started to offer our small Hand and Power Tool range within the eBay platform from 2015, and have since seen our customer base and tool range grow steadily. Almec decided to branch out and set Almecproducts.co.uk on its own, to expand and see what we could possibly bring into this huge, vast market of Tools. We started, like most, in a small space which soon became full and we needed to expand. Almec Fencing gave us a unit within our site here in Stoke-on-Trent and we grew to require a 40ft container too. Now in 2019 we have started to occupy a fair amount of the offices and yard space with a range of 800 lines. Still small but moving steadily on offering low cost options and quality service to all. May 2019 Almec Products is changing direction and style as we switched over to the new look and feel, as we bring in a fresh view of how we with to proceed in the market. Our design brings a dynamic, quality and trustworthy feel and look and with that will come High end quality sort after hand and power tools for the trade in mind.

Stay away from that company!
Never received the products I have ordered. Around t days after placing the order contacted their customer service to ask what is going on. After playing me around for another 10 day explaining me that they are chasing Royal Mail every day and the order is literally on my door step here we are. Twenty two days later, no order received, they refusing to issue a refund telling me we are not "Amazon" using every excuse in the book like postal strikes ( which basically was 1 day during that period) and even having the audacity to call me "ignorant and awkward". These people are ridiculous and will advice everyone to stay away and not buy anything from them! Shocking company!
P.S. As per your replay: I am not willing to wait 5 minutes you say right, well it is 22 days since the order was placed, so obviously you are living in a world where the time have different meaning! According to you I have to go to the post office to look for the item, obviously again in your dream world things are moving differently and it is the costumers who have to go and look for their stuff which is misplaced somewhere. Well if you still don`t understand that I told you that you are full of s... it is obvious, because in fact you are full of it! I am on the phone with my credit card issuer just now to recover my money and I will. Thank you once more for your comment it just proved that every single word I wrote in my review was correct!

Hello. I am sorry that you feel this way. However there are 2 sides to every story. Tracking indeed shows it is on your doorstep, as in your Royal Mail depot, we asked if you could possibly pop by and collect, we were told "not my job". We have talked to Royal Mail daily, who advised that due to all the current strikes there are back logs, as we advised you, not just the 1 day you state. You then went on to say you will call the funds back on your card and that we are full of S~~t.
Tracking shows at your local depot, yes it is stuck but it would have been quicker you just going and collecting. Thus the "Awkward" comment and the "ignorant" comment was that you seem to fail to think you need to play any part in retrieving your goods knowing full well that tracking shows their whereabouts! We are still trying to get this issue resolved but need to wait longer than the 5 minutes you seem to allow?

Hello Craig. I am so very sorry for the service you received. Sadly this could not be helped as I had "The Call" for a kidney transplant and had to leave immediately, sadly with no one else left to run the place we had to cancel all orders and close up. I have been off from the 18th Jan till the 25th May in recovery.
This is obviously not going to help your issue from the cancellation but may hopefully restore some faith in us for the genuine reason for the cancellation. I am so very sorry once again.
All came as promised.
