Scammed while downloading a parking app.
This company trick you into signing up to a monthly subscription, then make it very difficult to unsubscribe. My partner now has the hassle of calling the bank and stopping his card. Alltainment is clearly a company without morals and need stopping,

Tagging Google App

Joining up to UKTV Play via Google and Alltainment page opened, assumed this was part of signing up until I got a message saying I would be charged a fee after a few days. Checked internet to discover many people have been caught out over past few days by this company. Immediately cancelled bank card, but very inconvenient!

First I searched for the zoom app

First I searched for the zoom app, got this saying download free app. So I begsn, it thrn asked for my creditcard saying "you will not be charged" so I filled in my card details. Then I noticed the small ptint "for 5 days"!!!! After that the cost is £39.99pm.
Totally misleading America at its worst. Sneaky. Yuk. Now I have to find out how to cancel but in the mean time I have ordered a new credit card to be sure I can't be robbed for something that is free ie the zoom app! Now downloaded without sneaky sales.

Parking payment scam by Alltainment

Also sucked in when trying to download PayByPhone app following Google Search. Looks like you're downloading the app to pay for the parking. Once they have your credit card details, card info says they will charge £39.99 a month to your card. Declined the payment in my banking app and canceled card to be on the safe side. Have reported them to Google (it was a sponsored listing) and to the police. Which? has also been on their case and Google told them it was taking action but clearly their sponsored listings are still appearing, despite what they are doing being blatantly illegal.

Complete scam…

I was unaware I'd signed up for this until a free trial email came through to my account. I'd been trying to sign up to a football related website which needed a joining fee and I thought the payment page looked odd (and the amount didn't match what I'd expected) fortunately I noticed and came back out of the payment page. I emailed to cancel straight away and after an immediate automated response I got a cancellation email this morning. Fingers crossed this has worked!

I accidentally joined this scam whilst trying to get a parking app.
It says 5 days free then 39.99 every 32days. As a 76 year old pensioner I dont want or need this membership.
I have tried every email address that they give to cancel which have all failed to deliver.
I have sent a message on their page and no reply, so I believe this is a scam which means I will have to cancel my debit card to stop them taking my money.

Scam

Similar story - scammed through Ring Go piggy backing. Emailed and phoned them and they confirmed subscription cancelled. Lucky Barclays were super hot on this and I was able to block the payment ASAP.

Scammed in but let out!

I was also “scammed in” when trying to download Ringo. However, I when emailed Alltainment I got an immediate auto reply promising a response within 24 hours. To my surprise this did arrive next day, saying they had removed me from their subscription list. Maybe this outpouring of bad publicity had something to do with it! (And there was no response when I wrote back asking why they were signing people up in this disgraceful fashion)

Scammed into signing up for this company - whilst entering details to register RingGo car parking app. Says it is free - and when you have entered your card info it says you will be charged 39.95 per month unless cancelled. There's no way of cancelling without ringing them. I emailed but don't hold out much hope - so contacting my bank to cancel my card
