DONT USE ALLIED EXPRESS

After an attempted delivery I had to re-book the delivery at a cost of another $30….seems straightforward until I contacted the depot in Perth and was met with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had booked for a DELIVER NOW service with extra costs only to be told NO they’ve already left my area fyi I’m 15min from their yard the lady on the phone proceeded to tell me that it will be sent out again tomorrow but I’ve already paid extra for a delivery now service well within the timeframe given of between 7am-4pm

How are they still in service

Placed an order online from a fitness equipment wholesaler. Initial contact on the 8th said due the 9th. It took 4 days after getting from Broadmeadows to their depot in Warrnambool to even make it back onto a truck then after sitting home all day to be here for delivery I get an email saying it’s been delivered to someone who isn’t me and not even at my address. I can and honestly calmly enquire where the expensive purchase is and I’m essentially being yelled at by allied express phone lady while coping serious attitude for their stuff up and told do what u want we can try figure it out but it might take 3 days

Worst delivery / customer service experience I've ever had

Terrible delivery company with even worse customer service.

I purchased an item from an online retailer that used Allied as their delivery service, on the day of delivery I had a family emergency and had to leave the property so the item wasn't delivered, which is fair enough, the missed delivery was not their fault.

I organised re-delivery using their website, the next day the tracking status updated to "on board for delivery", waited in all day for a delivery that never came. When contacting their customer service team via phone I was told that the item wasn't out for delivery and that I needed to "wait for a text" and that "no one at the company could provide a more accurate delivery window" than that and the agent hung up on me.

Absolute shambles of a logistics company with hands down the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would implore any customers or businesses to avoid using this company.

Avoid at all Costs!!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Rude, aggressive staff who don't know if they are Arthur or Martha or even what day of the week it is. I received a text message saying the item would be delivered today. I rang the company to get an ETA and was told that was incorrect and it would be out for delivery tomorrow. I then received a text an hour later saying it was on board for delivery (today) and called Allied Express again, as was away from home. This was at midday and they said that it was still on board and I rushed back home thinking it was going to be delivered. I did ask the representative if they had attempted delivery at the time, as didn't want to rush back for no reason. I was told again it was still on board and they hadn't reached my home yet. Two hours later I rang again as needed to go back out, only to be told that an attempted delivery had been made at 10.30am and there was no way of knowing when it would be reattempted. The representative got very huffy at this point and said that she could not provide an ETA for the next delivery down to a time as it was a day service. When I said I couldn't stay in all day, I was told to go back to the company I ordered it through. I'd go pick it up myself but it's a very large item! I try to empathise with people in these roles, but they are the face of the company and some empathy back would be nice instead of downright rudeness! If you have a choice, don't use them!! If you don't, well all I can say is good luck to you! And good luck to me trying to get my item :-(

Don't use Transdirect and don't use Allied Express.

Booked Transdirect to deliver a package from Cairns to Cannonvale. Transdirect sub-contracted to Allied Express. The package has sat in Allied's Cairns agents depot for a week.
I called Allied last week and today - both times they said it was shipping that day. But to Brisbane! That's from a place a 9 hour drive north of us to a place a 12 hour drive south of us. It's obvious Allied have no idea where the delivery is and I found them to be quite dismissive.
In contrast, we had exactly the same delivery a few weeks ago. This time Transdirect sub-contracted to Aramex. The package was picked up on a Friday and delivered to us mid-morning on the following Monday.

Rude and unhelpful.

Rude and unhelpful.
Package sitting in their warehouse for two days. Won't allow me to pick up from depot. When I telephoned them they couldn't even find the order, but I could no worries.
Then they blamed bushfires (there are no bushfires), then it was delays during transit and finally they admitted it was in the warehouse, but they would deliver when it suited them.
Rubbish ... steer clear.

Why do I have to give them even one star????
Twice failed to turn up and then when they did get the mattress to me that let it fall out of van and impacted my garage door, denting it and pushing it from tracks, then drove off without even knocking. I saw and heard you you dumb dumbs. You will be paying for my garage door. On top of the door, it’s 50kgs mattress that you left in the middle of my driveway!!! Such pride in your work. Yum what a rubbish company

Couldn’t deliver ice to an Eskimo!

Purchased a coffee table & pre-made 2m buffet from Temple & Webster with delivery by their preferred company, Allied Express. T&W were great and refunded my $2.200.00 after Allied lost my 2mtr buffet. How can you loose a massive buffet?? I was home when the coffee table was delivered & told the rest would probably come the next day. It never did! After numerous emails & calls with no resolution I finally hear via email (4 weeks later) that it was delivered with the first parcel but wasn’t scanned as per the photo image. There was NO photo image attached to the email & I’m yet to get that too. I was here to receive the delivery so basically they bald face LIED! I will never trust this dishonest, incompetent bunch of morons with a delivery again & you’d be wise not to also.

Do not use this company

They certainly need to change their website! ‘Make it happen attitude, compassionate, will succeed’ as this is totally incorrect, they do not have customer service and have no idea how to meet service requirements.

One of the worst couriers you could come across. Called them as my item had been scanned and for over 7 days no update. The customer service agent advised she would email the company who was delivering and then either call me back or update the shipping details online. She didn’t do either so after waiting 3 working days I called back and had a lady tell me they couldn’t locate the item, told me she would hang up on me as she said I wasn’t listening but she didn’t let me finish a sentence! She told me I needed to now send all the packaging details, description of what the item was etc. I needed to then email them and they would email the courier! Can’t call the courier so this then takes even longer!
The next day a truck turns up and it’s my items! Even the truck driver told me how hopeless Allied are. Useless company, even after the item has been delivered they are sending me emails saying the delivery is on hold.
Do not use this company!

Unreliable

Unreliable, rude, super not client friendly. Please as much as possible do not use this courier service. If there is only an option on some shops to choose what courier you want for your package delivery I will definitely not choose this service. But I have no choice. They are the worst specifically if you are living in an apartment they are worst on locating your place. I super not recommend!

I purchased an Escooter last week for…

I purchased an Escooter last week for almost $1,000, plus a ridiculous shipping fee of $100! I had no say in choosing Allied Express as my delivery. The order was supposed to be delivered today, I was super tired and waited all day for the delivery to arrive, but no one arrived and charged me $100 for express delivery, the quality of service is very poor and unprofessional, and disgusting!

Their service is terrible

Their service is terrible. Unfortunately I didn't choose them myself, they are the delivery service for the shop I ordered from. Their tracking said for 3 days that I'd be getting my parcel "that day" so I sat home 3 days in a row waiting as they couldn't even do as much as give a timeframe for the delivery. The customer service people were also super rude on the phone and when I explained that I was waiting according to their text messages for 3 days, they not only didn't do anything to help with the issue, they actually hung up on me. Never ever use their services if you can avoid it.

Allied Express The Worst Company Ever

Allied Express, Brisbane, received my x5 large boxes on the 12th of December. I have just received my boxes today x7 weeks later. I had x2 awful employees put the phone down on me and others tell me that they "never make mistakes" but apparently everyone else does. I even had a signed receipt with the name, rego, date & time that their driver picked up my boxes, but still they said they didn't have them and couldn't be bothered to look for them. In the end I had one employee that was willing to help me. I had to send numerus pieces of proof to show my boxes were in their warehouse and even photos of the boxes so they could physically look for them. I and my suppliers will never use Allied again, so I never have to put up with such rude, ignorant and incompetent staff.

Allied would have to be the worst…

Allied would have to be the worst transport company I have ever used. I got a quote for a delivery for $35.53, the invoice came in at $373.62. I queried this and was informed that the person who gave me this price was wrong. They demanded I paid before I would get the parcel delivered, even though I had an account. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. P.s It took 3 calls as they hung up on me and 47 minutes of my life to be screwed over. They don't deserve 1 star

Terrible service

Terrible service. If you can help it, please do not waste your time or money with these ‘people’. I called them to say I wouldn’t be home for a delivery as both me and my wife are at work. I was told my items could only be held for 48 and they would be taken back to the sender. I can’t collect them from a depot, I can’t change the address or arrange another day. Then when I questioned that I was told they are my items, my problem and hung up on. If only I could give zero stars.

The driver refused to deliver the items…

The driver refused to deliver the items into the building saying they were too heavy - it was a small wardrobe in flat packs and he simply dropped them on the car park - this is disgusting ! Thank god we have cctv footage. He is the rudest driver I have ever seen deliver to this property. He also abused the staff member saying he didn't care what the supplier thought he didn't work for them.

I was hung up on...

I encourage Allied Express management to book in an immediate training session for their Customer Service Representatives because the representative I spoke to today delivered what NOT TO DO in customer service and created such unnecessary bad behaviour and attitude towards me.. I was really distressed after the phone call and don't normally post bad reviews for things, but on this occasion I really need to stand up for myself and for all paying customers out there who deserve respect and kindness..

Apparently the policy for this company mentions that if you do not have a lift in your building, delivery staff will refuse to deliver product to you upstairs, even if you mention that you will help, they will not do it at all.

After finding this out, the day of delivery, I changed my mind and requested to have it sent back to warehouse so I can contact the company for a return. (I am a single person and would not have been able to pick up my mattress all by myself).

Well after speaking to customer service twice about not delivering it to me, my request were ignored and I found my mattress in a broken box at the bottom of the stairs in my building without letting me know....
So my reason to call back to find out what had happened felt pretty reasonable....

When calling back the customer service representative told me to calm down and when asking if she could understand why I'm calling so confused she said she didn't understand me and put me on hold without even telling me what's going on.... when she picked up the phone again she was very rude when telling me that the driver will come get it, giving me attitude yet again...

I asked the representative if this call was being recorded because I was so shocked with her behaviour and she said yes and just hung up on me...

I had to call back again a third time to know if they were still fixing the issue and the supervisor handled the call on this woman's behalf but wow... just so much unnecessary drama.

I will never ever book with this courier again. Please check before buying anything online and find out what courier they use first...

If they use ALLIED EXPRESS please re-consider your purchase. The drama is not worth it :)
