Be wary of price gouging

Be wary of price gouging. We called them to service an air conditioner. When the technician arrived he also had a look at two others we had and it was obvious the filters and units needed a clean. He said he would do it and it would be a bit extra. He was at our house for exactly 1 hour. During this time he took the filters from all 3 air conditioners and cleaned them with our garden hose. He removed the plastic fascia off our main air conditioner and gave it a good clean. Absolutely no parts were replaced. We then got charged $660!! Basically, he charged us $220/air conditioner. $660 for 1 hours worth of cleaning with no replacement parts. Be very careful with this company. Make sure you know what they are charging for every little thing they do because they don't charge by the hour, they charge per task.

Never again!

Never again!! Taking advantage of old poeple? I am 81 and my partner 78.
Unprofessional? Incompetent? Unreliable? Dishonest?
Yours to judge!
We were mailed a flyer 10% off your next service. We had the AC serviced, all the excuses were given not to honour the 10%. In total we spent about $1000 for service/repairs.
The first we used it the AC broke down. We were told if the problem was our doing we had to pay for the call out. The technician told us at 35deg it was to hot for the AC to work. Charge $120.
Next time it was 29deg and AC broke down again. The technician fiddled around and told us it is all OK. I told him I think it is not working. Ten min. later it broke down again. I rung A--H-C I told them I would like the $120 back it was never our doing. They refused.
On the 8th of Jan we rung A-H-C they promessed to send a technician. Nobdy turned up. Afew days later we rung them again and they sent a technician. Finally he found the mistake a faulty motherboard. He quoted $790 for the board and he told us installation date on 16th Jan. We stayed home.Nobody appeared. On the 19th we got a call installation on the 20th. In the meantime I checked with Acron the manufaturer the retail price of the board $476.30 incl. GST. I refused to pay $790 for the board and we are still without AC.
The Testimonials on the internet say what an exdellen company A-H-C is. I have my serious doubts.
