Second opinion for my daughter Ingrid Helene Jurs

My daughter was in a car accident in 2009 and went through a Whipple's surgery and back surgery about the accident. In 2016 she had 5 back surgery's, and from the beginning of 2018, she has been in and out of the hospitals for extreme pain in the abdomen. The Norwegian hospital, Ullevål sykehus, has investigated the cause of her abdominal problems for 3 1/2 years without finding the root cause. My daughter, Ingrid Helene, my wife, and I, therefore, decided to see if we could get a second opinion from another international hospital. After getting contact with Alivia through Georg Kvande, we were called for a consultation with prof. Schöb in June and surgery July 7. Since the surgery in July, Ingrid Helene has not experienced any pain and we are there very pleased with the process with Klinik Hirlanden and the facilitating from Alivia.

Best regards,

Morten Jurs (father)

Invaluable peace of mind

The 2nd opinion service provided by Alivia was an enormous help for us to get a truly independent opinion from the national health service and their suggested procedures. It confirmed what had been suggested was the right course of action, but more importantly the fact that it came from the best international doctors in the field provided invaluable peace of mind - especially as we were living abroad and receiving treatment from an unfamiliar national health service.
The people at Alivia were all very knowledgeable and empathetic, and we would thoroughly recommend engaging with them to get the service they provide.

Alivia Swiss health

I have found Alivia not only professional but compassionate. They are very thorough and keep you updated regularly. If you have any queries they are always available and reply asap. They are only a phone call or email away and they always have time to listen. They were able to put myself in contact with a hospital abroad who can help me, when I was left with no hope. I'm looking forwards to going there next month. They give you that bit of hope we all need at certain times throughout our lives.Give them a call, they may be able to help you or a loved one. Thank you Alivia.

mother in-law was told by doctors to …

mother in-law was told by doctors to enjoy the time she has left by doctor after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
Alivia got me a second opinion from a london specialist who recommended a certain operation which I then went back to nhs oncologist with report and demanded she be refereed to a nhs surgeon for the operation which she reluctantly agreed to do.
The operation was done as recommended by the Alivia specialist and she is still alive today and we are waiting for next scan to see if the cancer has been irradiated.
I now wonder how many people that nhs oncologist has told there is no hope and been left to die taking her word as gospel.
The help and support I got from my case manager Michaela was above and beyond the call of duty she would answer all my emails no matter what time of night it was, these people are saving lives of people who the nhs have left to die for an affordable fee for the working class man.
There is hope with Alivia if you find you or a family member in the same situation - call them

Alivia Swiss gave great advice and help …

Alivia Swiss gave great advice and help in my wife Rita's fight with nasal cancer. If we could have found them earlier, the family believe her outcome could have been better.
All the Alivia contacts were professional and kind. The research they carried out found World class specialists whose advice and treatment was at the cutting edge of health care science.
In one instance Alivia Swiss obtained an appointment with a World renound specialist who had been unable to see Rita when approached by her own consultant.
