Alice has been a fantastic tutor for my son. She has supported him across Maths, Statistics, Astronomy and Physics as he works towards his GCSEs, and the difference in his confidence has been huge.

Alice has been patient, steady and encouraging, and over time he has built up to regular weekly sessions, which is a massive achievement for him.

What we really appreciate is that Alice understands him and works at his pace, while still gently moving him forward. She is reliable, friendly, calm and easy to talk to, and my son feels listened to rather than pressured.

She explains things clearly, keeps him engaged, and has helped make subjects that could easily feel overwhelming much more manageable. We are very grateful for the way she has helped him prepare for exams while also building his belief in himself.

I would happily recommend Alice to any family looking for a tutor who is kind, committed and genuinely understands how to support a young person as an individual.

Alice has been a wonderful tutor for my daughter C. She has helped her with maths, executive functioning coaching and dyslexia support, and has made a real difference to both her learning and her confidence.

What has stood out most is the way Alice takes the time to understand C as an individual. She is patient, reliable, encouraging and really listens. She adapts the sessions to C’s needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, which has been so important.

The Executive Functioning support has been especially helpful in giving C strategies to manage her learning, stay organised and feel less overwhelmed. Alongside that, Alice’s dyslexia support and maths tuition have helped C make steady progress in areas she has previously found difficult. C never enjoyed maths until Alice started teaching her.

Alice is friendly, professional and easy to communicate with, and she has built a lovely relationship with C. We are very grateful for all her help and would happily recommend her to any family looking for a tutor who is kind, flexible and genuinely committed to supporting a young person’s confidence and progress.

I really can't recommend Alice highly enough as a tutor. Alice had a real intuitive sense of how to approach the maths work with my daughter who came to really enjoyed the tutor sessions with her and for the first time in her life making an effort with her maths. It was such an incredible relief to see my daughter finally engaging with the subject and to see the positive results of this. I just wished I'd found her years before. My daughter has even said she will miss the maths tutor sessions with Alice now that she has completed her GCSEs. Alice was incredibly organised about sending invites to tutor sessions and sending explanatory notes about the tutor sessions to me as well which was great.

Well, what can I say? After two 'in person' tutors let us down we decided to go for online sen. We found Alice and even with the short period of time my son had with her his maths confidence and knowledge grew. Alice had the patience, empathy and ability for children with sen. Great written feedback after every lesson to guide the student where to focus learning.

Don't shy away from online tutoring with Alice and if your child has additional needs Alice will find a different way to teach them and hopefully raise those all important grades.

Alice has made me good and more confident at maths. In my recent paper, I wouldn't have got some of the questions right but because I have Alice I remembered a lot that she had taught me. She is really good and understanding and she will let you have a bit of a break in between the lesson. I highly recommend her as she's good with sen students, knows the curriculum, and she has clever ways of remembering things and working out things in Maths to make it easier.

Alice is an outstanding tutor and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She taught my daughter GCSE maths for around 18 months as part of a home Ed. Package. Alice has a brilliant knowledge of SEN needs and supported my daughter in having the confidence and abilities to take her exams.

Alice was recommended to me 4 months before my daughter’s GCSE’s. Having failed her mock and previous assessments, with Alice’s support, patience and specialised, targeted work, she managed to achieve a grade 4 at GCSE. Alice identified areas of focus early on and worked at a methodical, slow pace with my daughter. Her confidence grew and she soon got to grips with complicated concepts that she had never understood previously. We cannot thank Alice enough for the support she gave to our daughter at such a critical time and would not hesitate to recommend her.
