Alchemy Bake Lab is consistently amazing me with their variety of goods. The changing menu each month keeps you coming back again and again and finding new favorites every time. The staff is friendly and helpful and items are always boxed carefully. The fact that these treats are “mini” in size ensures that you get the chance to try it all! They are meticulously crafted and a conversation starter at any event. The amazing array of tarts are always a favorite with the Blackberry Jam being a stellar standout. Their chocolate chip cookies are always available and I am sure they must have something illegal in them to taste that good! Best I have EVER had anywhere. I don’t live anywhere near them but make special trips just to grab treats. LOVE this bake shop!

My fiancé and I visited Alchemy Bake Lab on July 3rd for a dessert tasting as we searched for the perfect dessert bar option for our wedding. While we had explored other dessert and cake vendors (and even had one included in our venue package), I really wanted to find something that felt more personal, unique, and aligned with our tastes — something different from what we had been seeing everywhere else. Alchemy Bake Lab was exactly that.

From the moment we arrived, the entire tasting experience felt so thoughtful and intentional. Every dessert we tried was incredible, and I loved the “homework” sheet we were given to rate each item because it really helped us talk through what we loved and envision what would fit best for our wedding. We never felt rushed and were given so much space to ask questions, share our thoughts, and truly enjoy the experience.

Beyond the desserts themselves, what stood out the most was the environment. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating — from making sure we had everything we needed, to taking the time to get to know us and our vision. We even got to interact with some of the team working behind the scenes in the kitchen, and you could just feel how much care and pride goes into what they do.

Even watching other customers come in to enjoy a treat, spend time with family, or just sit and relax added to the feeling that Alchemy Bake Lab is more than just a bakery. It genuinely feels like a warm, wholesome space built by people who love what they do.

We’re so excited to officially say that we put our deposit down and Alchemy Bake Lab will be part of our wedding in Fall 2027. We cannot wait to share these amazing desserts with our family and friends on such a special day!

Alchemy Bake Lab desserts are the best I have ever bought--ever. We entertain a lot and often the desserts at the end of the meal I buy there or one of my many neighbors buys them there to bring to the dinners. They are so creatively done and they are small enough bites that you can taste more than one! They are perfect for a "come and go" event as they can be finger desserts.

I'd been wanting to try Alchemy Bake Lab since discovering them via a Yelp search for the best desserts in Houston. They did not disappoint! Their treats were an absolute hit at my daughter's high school grad party! For those who have not, this place is a must try!

Kady and her team are the most amazing ladies I have ever met. Not only are they full of baking talent, they want to make you feel special. Whether you come in for a quick chai or you are making an order for a class full of kiddos they are there to make it unique AND delish!! They think about YOU!

The cake was ok but icing was very hard as we cut into cake. I sent inspiration photos of an ombré pink and blue iced cake with clouds and a stork for the cake base to be just white with a sheer shimmer and a stork on top.
